"What are you talking about, Princess?!" He huffed. This is completely utterly ridiculous!

"Drop the formalities Natsu, we've friends for a long time. Call me (Y/n)." He sighed, completely annoyed of what she said moments ago.

There's her prince!

An hour from now he'll arrive and he the dragon will be dead.

That's always the story, the monster always dies.

"Why are you running away from him, (y/n)? He's perfection, he has golds and an empire. Why?" He asked with confusion.

She'll live happily with gold and diamonds near her reach.

"I don't want golds, I don't want an empire, I want to love someone whom I knew a long time and was not written in a stupid prophecy." She reasoned out as she crossed her arms and lifted her head.

"You'll fell in love with him in a short period of time like all of the princesses!" He grunted with frustration lacing on his voice.

He knew that's the story, even if his heart is falling and crumbling right now, he already accepted the fate that was written, he'll go out of the picture and (Y/n) will have her happily ever after by her one true love, the prince.

"Why won't you listen to me? I don't like him! That's that! I don't wanna live my life marrying someone who's perfect and has golds and an empire." She said sternly, her blood boiling with anger.

Why don't he just help her?

"I just want you to help me. Save me." She begged, tears pricked on her eyes, she doesn't really feel a tingling admiration nor affection while looking at the knight in the mirror, she thinks he likes to save her just for bragging.

Natsu suddenly felt a pang of guilt. Did he make her cry?

He felt like he broke the most fragile thing, "I just think. . .it's dangerous." He concluded, he was afraid that she might get hurt, he can't stand it if that happens.

"What's more dangerous? Letting me live by that knight or running away?"

"Running away." He answered bluntly. It hurts saying that, he love to runaway with her without a problem in the world.

But that's not the storyline everyone was wanting, the prince always will be the protagonist, monsters and villains will forever be an antagonist.

"No! I felt something unusual with that knight, the moment I saw his face—well, he's handsome and all but I don't just go for looks, I look for personality and attitude." She hollered, getting more angrier when seconds passed.

"What if Liana finds out? We'll be dead meat!" Natsu shouted back.

"She wont! We live before dawn. I've got the plan covered."

"I can't promise you this will be successful, (Y/n). It's a 50/50 chance, maybe Liana puts on a barrier or something. I've got no power aside from fire." He explained, this is complicated. He can't assure that they'll live.

"Just answer me Natsu, yes or no?" (Y/n) question with her eyes full of hope.

Natsu looked away, conflicting wether to agree or not.

If he answers no, she's left with her knight and marry him, have kids and forget about him, I dont want that.

But if he says yes, they'll be in danger, including fighting off his own master and the knight.

"Yes."
