10. Ends

"No! (Y/n)!" Tears and blood mixed on Natsu's face, he started sprinting towards (Y/n) while holding his injured shoulder.

NO. NO. NO.

This can't be happening!

(Y/n) was near hitting the ground but Natsu caught her right away.

"(Y/n), w-why?" He stammered. Millions of questions rang through his head, but that's the only question he can process and came out of his bloody mouth.

(Y/n) smiled weakly at him and coughed blood, "It's okay. . ." She spoke through pain.

Blood started spreading out on her chest, Natsu couldn't help but feel alarm. It's blood!

He hate seeing blood and that's not the worst case, it not his, it's her blood!

"No! It's not okay!" He yelled, "Why? Why? Why?!" He can't help but yell at her, why would she do that? Was she that selfless?

"This must be a dream, wake me up! Wake me up now!" He begged while caressing (Y/n)'s bloodied cheeks.

(Y/n) choked back a laugh,
"This is not a dream. . .dragon boy." Even if she said it on a teasing way, Natsu couldn't smile.

How could he smile when the one he love is dying!

Love? Did he really said that?
He suddenly realized, his chest pain, his palpitating heart. . .it's all because of one girl and that's (Y/n).

He's in love with her, but he doesn't even realize it till now. "(Y/n) let's just wait for a little while. . .He said cupping both of her cheeks running his thumb over her cheeks, drops of tears falling from his eyes.

(Y/n) shook her head,"I. . .I don't think I can s-survive." Even talking makes her body ache.

She winced in pain when a tingling pain went pass through her, it really freaking hurts.

"Shhh...." He stopped her from talking, covering her lips with his index finger."S-Save. . .your energy." His heart ached,
He knows she can't make it, but he was hoping. Hoping.

He's trying hard to supress his emotions, looking at (Y/n) on most her vulnerable form makes his heart ache, "(Y/n). . . I love you." He murmured, putting her locks on the back of her ear cautiously like she would break in any minute.

(Y/n)'s (e/c)-hues augmented.

He loves her? She felt ecstatic, she was keeping her feelings for him, afraid that he'll reject her, but hearing that three words now? She felt so damn pleased, "I. . .love you. . .too." She whispered, and spit out some blood.

Natsu suddenly was panicking seeing blood again.

'It's all my fault.' He thought, dropping his head with dismay.

If he didn't agree with her,she wouldn't be in this state right now.

She'll keep baking cookies, reading some books, do her duck face, and she'll keep hugging him.

"Hey,nNatsu." (Y/n) called him,holding his locks.

"It's. . .not. . .your fault." She choked, "I chose this." Her grip tightened on his cheeks.

His tears poured out like waterfalls, he held her hand and kiss it,softly. "Don't l-leave me." He's horsely pleaded and hollered.

"You're free now, Natsu." Her lips curved. "Just always know. . .I'm here for you."

"No! Don't say that!" He shook his head, he can't live without her. He's too used having her,bhe can't lose her.

No! Not this time or any other.

"Tend your injury for me, okay?" Tears are emerging from her (e/c) hues. She didn't want to die,but she can't alter fate.

"N-No! We'll tend it together. . .please!" He begged.!Kissing her cheeks many times. Making her chuckle, "I love to continue our 'love story' but—"
Natsu stopped her."W-We'll continue our love story i-if you hold on! Happy and his friends are c-coming!"

"Smile for me. . .please?" (Y/n) pleaded, Natsu couldn't help but cry even harder. He smiled forcefully, tears still flowing on his face.

She laughed lightly, her breathing labored. "Man, I really wish you'll kiss me right now." She managed to choke out, her cheeks are even redder than the blood that was spreading on her dress.

Natsu didn't waste a second and instantly slam his lips on hers, her eyes widened, she doesn't really think that he'll do it,

(Y/n)'s was grinning from ear to ear but the tears never stopped flowing on both of their faces.

This is their first and last kiss.

He squeezed her hand hard, not as hard to hurt her, just to give her a sign that he's there. . .there for her no matter what.

"I love you, N-Natsu." She smiled, feeling herself slip away.

Natsu kissed her deeply even more, when he realized that his new lover is getting paler and paler.

"I'll see you. . .on t-the other s-side."

Her labored breathing was now silent, his senses alarmed,"(Y/n)?" He shook her.

No answer.

"(Y/n)?" He shook her again, but a little bit stronger this time. Still no answer.

His heart was beating out of his chest, panic was visible on his face.

"(Y/n)! No!" He shook her even more. "You're okay. Breathe. Just breathe. Open your eyes. Come back. It's okay. It's all over now, w-we are free." Tears are falling on his eyes, he didn't even realized that his and (y/n)'s blood was pooling all over the place. "P-Please come back.nDon't do this to me. Don't do this to me. Come back." He shook her even more, putting kisses all over her pale face.

"I love you so much. . .come back to me!" He bawled,crying his heart out.

He can't believe it,
She's gone...
