Ava Barton: Life unexpected

The Evening News

Ava's POV

Me and the girls have been at the hotel for only a few hours and we were now in our pyjamas. Georgia was wearing her cream coloured onesie with pink hearts all over it and sapphire was wearing her green onesie with white stripes. They both had their grey teddy which had a pink pair of pyjamas on.

I was dressed in my grey top which says 'it's a Bed Hair and Pyjamas Kind of day' and my pink bottoms. We were cuddled up in the bed the girls either side off me dropping off to sleep.

I look at my phone and it was from Ross, he said turn the evening news on. I switch the tv on and put the news on. I kinda knew what it was about, I had a feeling it was about me taking the girls from the care home.

News

Reporter: Today at approximately 2:30pm two year old twin girls sapphire-Maye and Georgia-Rose went missing from Hotten care home, they had been placed their for their safety only three days before.

Their social worker Kathy Kerrin has informed us that their mother may behind their disappearance and when their mother had visited her earlier that day she seemed distressed.

We have Kathy here to give you more information about the girls and their mother"

the reporter says into the camera

Kathy: at 10 o'clock this morning Miss Barton mother to Sapphire
And Georgia came to my office to try and get her twin girls back. I informed her that she couldn't.

Miss Barton has a dirty blond hair with blue eyes and the girls both have blond hair and brown eyes. We are worried about the girls well being and we hope to get them back safely.

Reporter: thank you Miss Kerrin... If anyone sees Miss Barton then we suggest to call Hotten Police right away

End off news

I couldn't believe that, they are basically accusing me of kidnapping my own children. It was just not fair. The girls were asleep and I climbed over the bed and sat on the sofa. And dialled Ross's number

"Babe, their coming back in a bit, they want to track my phone calls to you. If you need me phone Aaron" Ross tells me and I sigh softly "okay, just telling you the girls are fine" I say to Ross "okay babe, stay strong and stay safe love you" Ross says and I hang up.

I put my phone on the table. I end up falling asleep on the sofa but wake up only two hours not able to sleep. I just sit on the sofa hands on my belly. The girls will soon have a baby sister or brother and if the social have their own way then I won't be able to keep it. It's just not fair.

It was soon morning and I was still awake and the twins soon woke up "mummy" I hear Georgia say and I get off the sofa and walk over to the bed "mummy's here" I say grabbing my phone and climbing in between both off my girls.

"Mummy when we see daddy" sapphire asks me and I frown. "In a few weeks, we are going to be staying here untill things die-down" I explain to my babies.

They snuggle into my side and I kiss their foreheads. I check my phone and see I've had a text from Aaron

Hope your alright, Ross told us that you've taken the girls and we saw it on the news. Your going to get into some serious trouble an so don't want that. Mum is worried about you too, please just call us

I'll call you in a bit. I'll put the tv on for the girls and then I'll call you

I look at the girls nurvesly and reach over for the to remote before turning the television on. "Mummy's just going to go make breakfast" I tell the twins before leaving the girls and going to the kitchen. I unlock my phone and and dial Aaron's number

"Ava, are you okay" Aaron instantly said and I reply with a simple yes. "We're worried about you sis, me, Liv and mum, the police were round last night asking if we've seen you and they said you would be in serious trouble" Aaron tells me and I sigh "I'll be fine, me and ye girl will be fine" I tell Aaron and hang up
