Reality strikes

Me and Hunter established that when summer break came around our time away from each other would know longer be a thing. Sure enough summer break came at a rapidly fast past and it was time for reality again. I wasn't sure if I was prepared or not.

"Y/n get over here and come watch this" Kayla (my best friend) gestured pointing at the TV. I walked over from the kitchen to the living room so I could see the TV. We were watching vampire diaries for the second time and I just go up to get a snack but she acted like it couldn't wait. "Isn't this cute?" She said smiling at the TV. It was the part where Damon told her he loved her and then told her he couldn't be selfish so he compelled her to forget it even happened. "Yeah very cute" I said and smiled at the TV. The only thing I hated about cute tv shows like that is they made me feel like if I get a boyfriend things will go wrong but in the end everything will be okay and something cute things will happen. But in reality somethings never end well. I still loved the show though. "If you're not team Delena then something is wrong with you" She laughed looking at me. "There both so perfect but yeah Damon and Elena are my favorite's" I said, I actually liked them both I just didn't want her to hurt me.

Since I already saw this episode like all the others I decided to text Brandon and see what he was up to. Me and Brandon text basically every day, unlike me and Hunter.

Y/n: Hey Brando

He answered almost instantly

B: What's up?

Y/n: Watching tvd for the second time wby?

B: Is that the one show you used to obsess about?😂

Y/n: Never stopped😂

B: Haha, Well I'm just chilling with Hunter thinking about going to the park later. Warning you will be getting a very thought out text message either tonight or tomorrow. Just prepare yourself;)

Y/n: Well thanks for the heads up.

Just then Kayla started blasting music and dancing. I wasn't going to let her dance around alone so I joined in but quickly texted Brandon telling him I had to go.

Y/n: Gtg, but thanks for the heads up. Don't know what I would do without you:)

B: Anytime y/n, bye:)

Me and Kayla danced and sang for about an hour. After that we sat down for a few minutes then decided we wanted to go the the park.

I forgot Hunter and Brandon were going to the park, I only remembered when it was to late
