"Really? Awe you guys are an emotional roller coaster" Kayla laughed. She didn't seem to think I was crazy for sorta forgiving Hunter, which was good because she was my best friend and i didn't know what I would do without her. "So, do you think you and mine will become friends again?" She asked me breaking the silence. "Yeah I guess. It's not like I have control over who he wants to talk to and be friends with" I explained to Kayla. Me and her changed the subject and started talking about something else when I saw a guy approaching the ice cream shop in the distance from behind Kayla, I felt like I knew him from somewhere. As he got closer I realized where I knew him from...It was my ex boyfriend Luke. He moved away half a year ago because his Dad got a job in California. After he told me he was moving, I told him we should break up because he said he was never coming back and we would basically never see each other again. He said really rude stuff to me then on the last day he was in London I caught him making out with my Ex-friend.

He came up to the table that Kayla and I were seated at. "Hey y/n!" he waved at me. "Hi" I rolled my eyes and continued to eat my ice cream. "Listen, I'm really sorry about everything" He said. "I don't want to hear it Luke" I replied. Kayla just looked at me. "Let's go" I nodded at her and stood up, She followed after a few seconds. I turned the corner and started walking down the road. I heard Kayla running up behind me and I Immediately slowed down so she could catch up. "So that was Luke" Kayla said. "Yup" I said looking at the ground, the thought of him coming back made me grin and i didn't know why. "He's cute" Kayla laughed and punched my arm as we were walking. "I know!" I laughed with her. "But he came be a real jerk." I told her. "Okay ill stay away" Kayla laughed.

It took us about 10 minutes to get back to my house. Once we got home we went straight up to my room and pulled out our phones. I had a message from Hunter. I swiped on the message and typed in my password.

H: Thank you for possibly giving me another chance, it really means a lot. The thought of losing you again is horrible. Once again I'm truly sorry and I hope we can be good friends again. Have a good day beautiful, and enjoy your ice cream.

I couldn't help but smile, I even giggled a little. "What happened?" Kayla asked grinning. "Just something Hunter sent me" I laughed. "Let me see" Kayla said. I tossed her my phone and she read the message. "Awe! that boy just doesn't give up does he?" Kayla giggled. "I guess not" I laughed and shrugged. She went back to her phone and I went back to mine. I decided to respond to Hunter because why not.

Y/n: No problem Hunter, it wasn't my place to be judging who you talk to. Even if it was Maddie. Hope you have a good day too. The ice cream was amazing;)

I sent the message and then excited out of imessages and went to my Instagram. I scrolled through until I saw a picture that Hunter posted. It was of him on the beach with some girl, Just a fan I guess. The caption was "Love you guys so much" I smiled and continued on. Brandon texted me and asked if I wanted to hang out tomorrow so I said I would. I wanted to tell him everything.
