Me and Kayla were silent for a few minutes but then I decided to speak up to break the silence. "So do you still like Brandon?" I asked looking to my left to look at her. "Ya, He's cute I guess" She said looking down at the ground with a slight smile on her face. "Since me and him are good friends do you want me to talk to him for you" I hoped she would say yes. "No it's okay I wanna do this on my own. I don't expect him to like me and i'm not going to try and get him to like me, I'm just going to be myself" She smiled at me. "So enough about me, are you and Hunter going to date again?" She asked me, nudging my shoulder. "I don't know. What he did really hurt me, but when he apologized it seemed sincere and said the nicest things so I honestly don't know" I laughed.

Just then we arrived at the park early. Hunter and Brandon weren't supposed to be there but they were. I looked at them with a questioning look, they were with a girl. I thought she was just a fan so I began to walk up to them with Kayla  but as I got closer I realized who it was... Maddie. "Maddie?" I accidentally said out loud. "Maddie? As in the Maddie that split you and Hunter apart" She asked me. "yup" I replied. I wanted to face my problems in life so I looked a deep breath and started walking towards them leaving Kayla behind. Hunter was sitting on the bench next to Maddie and Brandon was standing there with an annoyed look on his face. They clearly didn't hear me because when I made it to the bench they didn't turn around. I could make out the words they were saying so I decided to just stand there and listen for a minute. "Maddie, you don't understand. You were so rude to her and it was unacceptable. I forgive you, but I love Y/n" Hunter told Maddie. 

I was hurt that her forgave her that easily but I didn't move I kept listening. "Hunter please. I don't want you to love her. I want you to love me" she said with a sad voice. I rolled my eyes, I hated her so much. "I love her i'm sorry. But I came here early just to meet you and that's all you want to say?" Hunter asked her. "No, I wanted to do this" Maddie grabbed Hunter's face and kissed him and it didn't seem like he was pulling away. A tear rolled down my face. Brandon's Jaw dropped. I felt like I couldn't stand I tripped a little but I didn't fall, but it was enough to get Brandon's attention. "Y/N!!!!" Brandon said in shocked. "Hunter stop!" he yelled at Hunter. Hunter turned around to see me in almost tears. "Y/n, it's not what it looks like she kissed me" Hunter said trying to explain himself. "Hunter she kissed you but you didn't pull away you guys kissed for about 7 seconds that's enough time to pull away if you ask me" I managed to get the words out of my mouth. Maddie grinned and then rolled her eyes. "Hunter, Y/n is so much better then her. You really shouldn't have done that man. You can't just play with girls emotions like that" Brandon said defending me. "Thanks Brandon. I'm going home" I said turning around. Someone grabbed my arm, I tried to pull away but they didn't let go, I turned around and there Hunter was face to face with me. He put his hands on my cheeks and wiped away my tears. "Baby girl I didn't want to kiss her you have to believe me" He told me. He leaned in to kiss me and we were 1 cm Away from each other when I pushed his hands off my face and ran back to Kayla. 

When I got to Kayla she pulled me in for a hug and tried comforting me. "It's okay, he's a jerk. Now let's get you home" she told me as we separated from the hug. I was in tears by then and I probably looked like a mess but I didn't care. I heard Hunter yelling something but I didn't care what it was. I glanced over my Shoulder to see where Brandon was but he wasn't there, and neither was Maddie. It was just Hunter and he was sitting on the bench with his head in his knee's. 

I ignored my feelings and kept walking. By the time we got home I stopped crying. "Please don't tell my mom, don't even talk about it when she gets home" I pleaded. "No problem" She smiled at me. "Everything will be fine" Kayla comforted me. We both went upstairs to my room and sat on my bed. "Do you want to talk about it?" Kayla asked me. "Not really, I'm done with him" I told her. I pulled out my phone and there was a text from both Brandon and Hunter. I clicked the messages bracing myself...
