You and Hunter took time and talked every now and then and now it was time to get back to reality.

"So Y/n are you excited to go to California?" Christine asked me. "Not at all" I said with a sad tone. "We will miss you a lot" Christine smiled. "I'll miss you guys too" I smiled looking at all of them.
"Dinner is served" My mom said coming in from the kitchen with chicken and mashed potatoes. There was already some bread and vegetables on the table and I guess she was bringing more food in a minute. "This looks amazing thank you" Hunter said to my mom. "Oh anything for you guys" she smiled.
After we finished dinner and brownies for dessert we all just sorta talked at the table for a good half an hour. Eventually the Rowland's left and about 5 minutes after they did I got a text from Hunter.

I grabbed my headphones from my room and came back downstairs and sat on the couch. I facetimed Hunter and he picked up after the second ring. "Hey cutieeee" Hunter said as his adorable face appeared on the screen. "Hi" I smiled at him. Just then the phone started ringing. My mom picked it up from the kitchen. "One second" I said to the camera. "Okayy" Hunter replied.
"Hello?" I heard my mom from the kitchen. "Oh my god is she okay?" my mom said. Her throat sounded all scratchy and it sounded like she was crying. "Mom is everything okay?" I yelled to the kitchen. "Grandma's in the hospital" my mom said.
"Hunter I should go, my grandma's in the hospital. I don't really know what's going on but it doesn't sound good" I told him panicked. "Okay I hope everything's okay... I love you Y/n" Hunter said worried. "I love you too. I'll text you" I said and ended it. I ran into the kitchen to see what was happening.
