Tease

"What are you doing? are you trying to tease me?" Hunter sat up and looked at me with anger in his eyes. "What are you talking about?" I asked him and a questioning look. He glanced down at our hands that were sitting right beside each other. "I felt bad Hunter that's all. I'm not trying to tease you what so ever" I told him. He looked down. "I'm sorry it's just I really regret meeting Maddie, it's just I was so glad you gave me another chance and I thought you kinda liked me again so I wanted to tell Maddie that me and her were never going to work but then she did that. I promise you it wasn't expected or planned I have the messages to prove it" Hunter said. I didn't want to read the messages because I didn't want it to seem like I was obsessed or scared.

I took a deep breath then decided to speak. "I don't need to read your messages.. I'm sorry it seemed like I was trying to tease you, I was just coming over the see if you were okay." I got up and started walking toward Kayla who was standing in the grass on her phone. I heard Hunter stand up behind me after I stood but I didn't turn around. I felt his warm hands rap around my waist. "What are y-" He pulled me into a tight hug, my face was buried in his chest not letting me finish my sentence. "If you're going to ignore me for the rest of my life, at least let me hug you one more time" Hunter said hugging me tighter.

It felt nice to hug him. I honestly really couldn't be mad at him for what happened with Maddie because it's not like we were dating so he can do whatever he wants. But it hurt that it was Maddie. I was making pro's and cons in my head of being friend's with Hunter again when he pulled out of the hug which sent me back to reality. "Is there any way you will EVER forgive me" Hunter pleaded emphasizing on the ever. "Maybe." I half smiled at Hunter. "Is there anything I can do?" Hunter looked at me. "Just give me time, I really need to think. Just don't do anything stupid in the mean time" I laughed a little. "Thank you y/n. Is it okay if I still send you good morning texts telling you how beautiful you are?" Hunter laughed too. "Yeah sure" I winked at him. He just smiled at me. "Well Kayla and I are going to the ice cream store so ill see you later" I told Hunter. "Yeah have fun" Hunter waved as I walked back to Kayla. A smile crossed my face and I let it stay there as I approached Kayla.

"What happened?" She asked giggling. "ill tell you later. Let's just go get some ice cream" I laughed. We started walking down the road. I turned around to see Hunter watching us leaving. I smiled at him then waved and he waved back with a HUGE smile. I Wanted to be his friend again its just i needed time;)
