Here I stand

Sick again

We rushed to the Toronto hospital where my Grandparents lived. When we got to the hospital we ran to the front desk to see what room she's in. "Room 204" The lady at the desk told us. When we got to the room my grandma was on one of the hospital beds asleep and my grandpa was sitting in the chair next to her, holding her hand. 

"What is wrong with her?" I managed to get out. "The cancer came back.. and it spread" My grandpa told us. "I thought they said it was permanently gone last time" my mom choked out. "They thought it was, but I guess it came back way worse" My grandpa said. He sounded tired and very upset, I couldn't blame him. "Doctors said they can try surgery but there's a very slight chance it will work. She's no where near in good shape" My grandpa said while staring at there 2 hands.

After about an hour of sitting there waiting the doctor came in. "It's getting late.. I think you guys should really go home and get some sleep. Come back tomorrow morning and we will let you know how she's doing" The doctor told us. We all thanked the doctor and said good bye to my grandma even though she was asleep. We were spending the night at my grandparents. 

*Later that night at my grandparents*

After we talked for a while we all finally got ready for bed at 1. I turned on my phone and read all my text messages from Hunter.

H: I Don't really know what's going on but it didn't sound good. You probably don't have time to talk right now so I hope everything's okay. I love you<3

H: Hope your okay

H: Baby girl I hope you see this soon so I know what's going on

H: I'm gonna go to bed. I hope your okay. Just text me, whenever...I don't care what time it is. Just text me so I know you and your family are okay. I love you so much Y/n. 

I thought I'd text him because he seemed really concerned.

Y/n:  So sorry I didn't text you soon, I turned my phone off and didn't really think of it. My grandma's cancer came back and it's not looking good, I'm scared Hunter. Were staying in Toronto for who knows how long. I love you too and ill try my best to text you in the morning. I miss you<3

I plugged in my phone, turned off the light and went to bed. I couldn't stop thinking about what would happen if my grandma didn't make it.
