Here I stand

Routine

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. "Kayla! wake up" I shook her. "What" She growled as she turned around the face me. "Breakfast is ready girls!" I heard my mom yell up the stairs. We both jumped out of my bed and ran down the stairs. As I pulled out a seat to the island my stomach growled really loud. Kayla looked at me funny. "Did you hear that too?" I asked her. "Yeah" She laughed. "Here you girls go" My mom said as she placed 3 medium sized pancakes on our plates.

*skip breakfast*

"Thank you!" we both yelled down the stairs. "No problem girls" My mom replied. Just as we walked into my room I saw my phone ringing while it was on the charger. I ran over to it and unplugged it, it was Brandon calling.

y/n: "Hello"

Brandon: "Hey y/n"

y/n: "Is something wrong?"

Brandon: "nope nothing, just wanted to make sure that you knew to meet me at the park at 2. And could it be alone?"

y/n: "Okay and yeah sure"

Brandon:"Okay great I have to go get ready so ill text you later"

y/n: "Okay bye"

Brandon: "Bye"

We hung up. "Brandon?" Kayla asked me. "Yup" I said putting my phone down on my night side table. "My dad is picking me up in 30 minutes" Kayla told me. "Okay" I looked at the clock, it was 12. So after she left that would give me about an hour and about 15 minutes.

Kayla packed all her stuff up and soon her dad drove up the drive way. "Good bye... Thank you for having me" Kayla waved as she walked out the door. "Anytime Kayla" My mom yelled from the kitchen. "Bye, text me" I waved. "will do" Kayla said. I closed the door and watched her get into the car with her dad and leave. "So what's the plan for today?" My mom asked me. "Going to the park with Brandon, is that okay?" I replied. "Yeah sure, have fun" My mom said as she left the kitchen with a coffee in hand and walked into the living room.

I ran back up the stairs and grabbed everything i needed for a shower. I grabbed my house coat and walked across the hall into the bathroom. I turned on the shower to the temperature I wanted and then got in.

*After shower*

I grabbed my towel, wrapped it around me and then got out of the shower. I dried my body then I put my underwear and bra on and put my house coat on over top. I walked back across the hall and into my room. It wasn't the nicest day but it was alright out. I grabbed my high wasted shorts for areopostale and I grabbed one of my t-shirts from pink. I put on a little mascara and then I brushed my eyebrows so they weren't so jacked up. I blow dried my hair a little bit then I did 2 french braids on my hair and I sat down on my bed. It was around 1:30 ish. I had a few more minutes before I had to leave. I brushed my teeth and went down stairs to put my shoes on. When I got down there my brother and his friend Justin were eating cereal at the table. I'm not going to lie, Justin was cute. "hey y/n" My brother said as he stuffed his face with cereal. "Hi" I said not even glancing up at him.

I walked over to wear all the shoes were and I just put on my pair of my neon orange Nike runners. "Bye Mom!" I yelled as I opened the door. "Bye have fun sweetie" She yelled from the living room. "Okay" I closed the door.

About 7 minutes later I arrived at the park. I saw Brandon sitting on a bench. I started to walk over to him when I was stopped by someone grabbing my hand. I turned around in confusion.
