Here I stand

Friends?

"Hey y/n" Brandon waved as he approached us with Hunter following behind him. "Um hey" I replied looking down at the ground. Just then a ringing noise came from Kayla's phone. "One minute" she said answering and walking off in the opposite direction.

"So what are you guys doing here?" Hunter asked deciding to speak up. "Brandon could you give us a minutes alone please" I sighed. "Of course" Brandon grinned then started walking toward where Kayla was. Once I knew Brandon couldn't hear us any more I began to speak."Listen Hunter I know we agreed that when summer Break came around that we would no longer avoid each other and I don't know if I'm ready to be friends again" I looked at the ground again. "Y/n I know being friends with me isn't exactly ideal but you don't know how hard it is to stay away from you. It's like every time I see you I just want to give you a great big hug and see that great big beautiful smile of yours. This may be easy for you but it's probably the hardest thing I have had to do in my life" he explained. "You don't think this isn't hard for me? Hunter you were my everything, you were the one thing that made my great big beautiful smile happen. But you really hurt me and by staying away from you made me feel like I wasn't suffering from heart break." I felt good for letting him know how I felt.

"Y/n I'm 15 years old, I make mistakes. I'm not perfect but I can definitely tell when I have made a horrible mistake and this is one of them please please forgive me or at least give me a chance" He looked unhappy. I couldn't say know to him, I mean look at him for heavens sake he's so adorable and I loved him so much. "Hunter of course you can have another chance, but just friends for now" I half smiled. His face lit up with a HUGE smile. "Thank you so much Y/n i love you" he ran over to me and hugged me. 

"I see you guys made up" Brandon laughed as he walked towards us with Kayla. "I guess so" I laughed. "Yup now I don't have to send that embarrassing text" Hunter winked at Brandon. Brandon pulled me over and whispered in my ear "Don't worry he sent it to me, I'll send it to you" Brandon laughed and so did I. "You suck Brandon" Hunter laughed. He turned around and started to walk towards one of the bench's. I quickly ran in front of him and sat on the bench. He stuck his tongue out at me and sat right beside me on the bench. Our hands were almost touching and I could feel the warmth of his hand close to mine. Brandon and Kayla trailed behind us talking and laughing. Kayla told me she thought Brandon was cute a few days ago but I didn't know if Brandon felt the same way or not. The thought of them dating made me giggle, "What?" Hunter asked. "Oh nothing" I smiled at him.

The day went by really fast but it was really fun. I was glad me and Hunter were friends again, I really did miss him. When me and Kayla got home we said hey to my mom then we went straight to my room (She was sleeping over again). We texted Hunter and Brandon once we got up there and decided to hang out again tomorrow. After that we were both exhausted and decided to go to sleep. I passed out instantly.
