It was 9am again,I had a eventful night. The babies would not sleep last night,and it is hard to get in a comfortable position. So,I read online that it is good to get a body pillow,it was a SweetPea Maternity Nursing Pillow. I love it,and so do the twins,because they fell right to sleep. I was just now walking into my appointment,there was no one here in the waiting room. I signed in and waited for,Becca,my nurse to come for me. Soon she did,My weight gain since my 30th week is almost 14 pounds. I have been coming in every week for checkups on my twins. She took blood and urine,then left me in the doctors room.

Ten minutes later,Dr. Crow,in all of her scrubs and white coat came in. She smiled at me,a little piece of fringe in her face,”How are you doing Riley?”

“I am great now,”

“Oh,and what happened,you are glowing!”

I laughed a little,”I got a pregnancy pillow.”

“Those are so nice for you and your babies.”

“Yes they are. We all slept last night. I was glad to get some sleep.”

She patted the bed for me,”Let's check up on the babies.”

I smiled and did as she said. She checked the heart beat first. You could hear both heartbeats,it melted my heart a little. She pulled up my shirt,to do the ultra sound. The gel was freezing. She had the monitor towards her,she does it to see if there is anything wrong. She put the probe on my belly and started to move it around. She smiled and chuckled,”Well guess what?”

I hoped it was something good,”What?”

“Both babies are now facing the cervix!” She said happy.

Thank god,both babies are in the birthing position now,”That is amazing news!”

She continued looking at the monitor,”Which means,you can have a normal birth!”

“Be honest,can I do it without pain medication?”

She laughed a little,”Everyone is different,I had all 3 of my kids normally and without medication.”

“Great,I want to do it without.” I said.

She nodded and wrote in my file,she looked back at the monitor again,”The weight of Baby A is 4 pounds 6 ounces. Baby B is at 4 and a half pounds. Baby A is almost one foot,she is there. Baby B is 1 foot,2 inches.”

I love finding out their weight,they are so big now. We soon part ways,and I head home,my clock says 11:32. My baby shower is today,at 1:00pm. I was super excited to see everyone. I was excited to see Ellie again. The lunch was good,she seemed to like them. I can still remember the day I went to get her.

“Miss. Copeland?” She said in a small voice.

I smiled up at her,she smiled back. I signed the paperwork that I was given,then we got in my car. We were eating at a local cafe. It was a small place that would be good for us.

We met Callie and Jordan here at lunchtime. She was pretty scared to meet them,but I told her everything would be great. I knew it would.

When she saw Callie and Jordan she hid behind me. I picked her up and introduced them. She smiled a little,she took to Callie really well. She didn't take to Jordan at all. She soon said hi to him,after he ordered her ice cream.

We had a blast and even got Ellie to giggle. She had fun,I drove her to their apartment,witch was in my building. They showed her the room she would be in,it was bear except for a bed and dresser. They were going shopping soon. She loved what she had so far. I have seen her everyday since then. She is fitting in well.
