Chapter 1

~Thoughts~

Bella's POV

        I'm Isabella Marie Swan, but I would like to be called Bella. My brother is Emmett, and he has a very good sense of humour. My dad is Charlie, the chief of police, while Renee is my mom and a housewife. We live in a small and rainy town named Forks. Almost all the talks and gossips here flew away like wind and lightning. Soon you'd just find out that most of the people knew of your secrets. Great, right?

        Well, back to reality. My brother and I would be starting school tomorrow. We already met Rosalie and Jasper Hale - they're twins - and they're nice so far. We're hanging out with them for almost a year after meeting them in our junior year last year. Emmett have had this thing to the blondie girl which was Rosalie. Emmett said that maybe it was time for me to find my other half, and he thought that it could be Jasper. But as for myself, I was enjoying the life of being single and love wasn't on my mind yet. It's not saying that Jasper was ugly or something, I just didn't think he was it for me.

        I was knocked out of my thoughts when I heard someone knocking on my door.

        "Bells, can I come in?" Emmett asked.

        "Sure," I said.

        "Hey, I was just wondering, aren't you excited for school tomorrow?" He asked a little nervously.

        "I was thinking about school before you entered, and I think it would be great. Why do you ask?" I responded.

        "Nothing, I'm just happy that I'll be able to see Rose again. Besides, it's been a long time since we've hang out with them."

        "Aww! I think big bro's in love???" I said, teasing and making him blush.

        "Fine, fine, fine. Just sleep and stop teasing me," he said irritatingly.

        "Okay! Good night!" I told him.

        "Night, Bells and sweet dreams," he said back.

        Emmett walked out and closed the door. After some more minutes of thinking what would happen to school tomorrow, I finally drifted off to sleep.

A/N: Hey, chapter 1 is up! Hopefully I'll be posting 2 chapters tomorrow. I know it's short but please don't judge me.. This is my first book and first chapter.
