EPOV
I felt like I was in hell. 5 days of no Bella or Alice. We were all getting desperate to catch the bastards and put them behind the bars. Renee and Esme were trying their best to hide how depressed they felt, but it was clearly seen that they're miserable. Our phones were being monitored in case the kidnappers will give us a call.
Jasper sat beside me on the front porch of the Swan's house with a mug of coffee on his hand. It was 7 in the morning, and others were still asleep apart from Charlie who was working nonstop, my dad at the hospital and us. My face was buried in my hands, tugging roughly on the strands of my hair.
"Jas, what if... what if something bad happened to them?! God, I can't live without Bella!" I said, sobbing quietly.
"Man, you gotta be strong. Nothing is going to happen to them. We'll find them." He clapped my back in a soothing manner.
"I wish that it was just me instead of Bella." I muttered.
"Edward, neither of this was our fault. Some things were bound to happen, but we should never give up."
"I know. I just... I can't help but worry so much." I sighed.
"I understand, man. I felt the same." He said.

We were eating our lunch when my phone rang. We stopped, staring at each other, our spoons and forks clanked on our plates. I quickly pulled out my phone from my pocket and fumbled with the screen. Charlie mouthed to turn it into loud speaker and gave them the silent sign. The number written on the caller ID was unknown.
"Hello?" My voice was calm, though I was dying of rage inside.
"My, my, my... What a lovely surprise, Edward Cullen." A man with sickly sweet voice said.
"Who are you, and what do you want?!" I barked.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk... You will regret what you said. Maybe we should just kill your precious Isabella." He threatened, my blood turning cold.
"Edward! Help us, please. Edw-" It was Bella's voice, she sounded so broken.
Renee covered her mouth, already in the verge of breaking down. "Now, we don't want to waste time, don't we?"
"Just tell me what to do. Anything. Just don't hurt them." I begged.
"That's it. Good boy. Here's what you're gonna do, I will meet you at the diner 30 minutes from now. Make sure that you're alone, if I see any cops tailing behind your back, your precious girlfriend and sister will say hello to death."
"Okay. What do I need to bring?"
"Just bring yourself, boy."
"Wait, who are y-" The line went dead.
Charlie called the detective to search where the bastard was calling from, and it was found out that he was near La Push in the middle of the forest. My mother was freaking out, but I assured her that I will come back alive together with Bella and Alice. As soon as we knew the location, and everything was planned, I went to the diner and waited for him.

James ended the call and chuckled darkly. "You're superhero is coming to get you. Too bad, you'll be dead by then."
