We got off the plane about three hours after take off and walked into the airport. Bonnor was holding my hand as we walked to the baggage claim. He got my bags then found his. After he grabbed his last bag we walked out to the parking lot and got a cab.
The drive was over an hour so it wasn't a big drive. When we got there he got our cabin key and we went to it. It was a one room, one bathroom, one kitchen and one living area cabin basically it had one of each room.
It was about midnight and it was cold out. I put on some thermal pjs and got into the bed. Bonner soon followed in his own thermal clothes and pulled me close to him. I fell deeply asleep as soon as his arm was positioned over my waist.

I woke up to Bon lightly snoring. Looking around I saw light flooding in the windows. I got up and went to a window. Snow was still on the ground from last night when we got here.
I started a hot shower and got in. The door opened luckily the shower curtain was not see through. When I was done I got the towel I set by the tub/shower and started to dry off behind the curtain.
The door closed after the toilet was flushed. I got out and finished drying off. I put on my undergarments and a fresh set of thermal under clothes. Bon had his clothes ready for a shower when I got out. He went in and I went to start coffee and breakfast.
He came into the kitchen in his thermals and got a cup of coffee. I finished cooking and served two plates. We ate in silence then when I was done I washed my plate and put it up.
Then I got my gear out and Bon followed pursuit. We wanted to hit the slopes, well he did I've never done this. "I'll go over the tactics with you. We'll start on a bunny slope and work our way up." He assured. I nodded and we put our stuff on.
He held my gloved hand as we walked to the slope. "Ok first your going to strap your feet to the board." He started as he fastened his to the board. "Your going to have to use balance on this." He said as he was on the edge of the slope.
I went to the edge and fastened my feet to the board. "Ready?" He asked. I nodded and pulled my goggles over my eyes. One little lean was all it took for me to be snowboarding. He passed me and leaned to turn.
I did the same and turned perfectly. Once we reached the bottom I stopped like he did. "Wanna do that slope again?" "Nope." "Then let's go to the next one." He said as he unclipped his feet. I followed and we went to the next slope.
There were fewer people on this one than the last one. I strapped my feet on and took a deep breath before taking off. When I got to the bottom Bon was right behind me.
"It's fun isn't it?" He asked. "Yeah it is." I said. "Then do you want to go down it again or keep going steeper?" "Steeper." I replied. He smirked and scoffed. "Guess I just have to live it to love it." I said using his phrase.
"Then let's go." He finally said before we started for a higher slope. At lunch we went and got warmed up. He fixed his oh too famous chilly to help warm us up.
"That second slope and beyond looked like you've been doing since you were young." He said. "I just started doing it today." I replied to him. "Couldn't of." "What if I water boarded?" "That probably helped you." "That and I would mud board during the spring." I told him as I took a bite.
"That's it. That's the difference. You never did snow board but you did something similar." He exalted. "Now we can go almost every snowy weekend or week." He said shaking his head.
"But I was planning on going to the south Texas beach to do water sports." "Such as?" "Any water sport I can do and try." I said as I leaned on his shoulder.
"Think we should get back out and go on the rest of the slopes?" He asked. "We still have the rest of this coming week and weekend." I said. "But I was planning on going to Vegas early." He said. That's why he had me pack clothes for Vegas. "My dad and brothers are going to meet us at Vegas." He explained.
That night I crawled into the warm bed and fell asleep after the long day. Bonner got a shower and joined me soon after I was dozing off.
