The One and Only

Chapter:15

I sat next to Bonner as he signed autographs for people. Most were little kids and their parents and others were those wishing to be a pro bull rider.

LJ Jenkins was at another table signing there. Two others that I didn't know were also here at Pinto Ranch. The hour was almost up then the press arrived. Half went to talk to LJ while the rest came over to Bonner.

"Bonner who is this lady sitting next to you?" One asked. "You'll find out tonight." He said handing a little girl a signed picture while smiling. "Bonner do you think you'll take home a buckle?" Another one asked. "I plan on it." Bonner replied.

"May we get pictures of you and the lady?" The last one asked. "Tonight." Bonner finally said before taking my hand and leading me out to the truck. We got in and went to eat before another signing.

I pushed Bonner out after a reporter asked a stupid question. "I could have took him." He whined. "Yeah and it would be bad on you if you even threatened him." I told him.

"I'm driving your the passenger this time." I told him as I got into the drivers seat. He got in and we went back to the hotel.  I got out once there and basically made him go up to the suite.

When we got there I closed the door behind us. "Ok explain." I declared. "What's to explain? He asked a very personal question that never should have been asked." "You need to go rest." I told him. "Why?" "Because you mister have to ride tonight and tell the whole rodeo community that your dating. That alone puts enough stress on me."

"Fine whatever just don't expect me to keep my cool next time that happens." He said as he went into our room. His dad came in the suite after Bonner slammed the door. I was use to the attitude he had.

"Anger again?" Toya asked. I nodded before storming after Bonner. I opened the door and closed it back. He was laying down on the bed on his stomach. I took my boots off and crawled onto the bed next to him.

"Bon?" He never moved. "Bonner?" I said crawling into his back. He again didn't move. This wasn't his usual anger. "Bonner? Want to take about it?" "What's to talk about?" He finally responded.

I kissed his cheek then his jaw. "Because we could make a plan in case that question comes up again." I said placing my hands on his shoulders. "Fine."

I massaged his shoulders calming him down. "Next time any reporter asks if you are a sex toy or even asks if we've had sex...." "We tell them that is for after we get married. If we get married." I told him as I kissed his cheek again.

"Let's take a nap and we'll be ready for tonight." I told him. "Yeah. That sounds like a plan." He replied as he rolled onto his back and put me on his chest. I laid my head down on his hard chest and started tracing his abs.

He groaned as he put an arm on my waist to bring me closer to him. I closed my eyes and let him hold on to me.

When I woke up it was three thirty. "Bon. You need to get ready." I said to the man who was still holding me. "Five more minutes." I got up and gathered my stuff for a shower. "If your not up by the time I'm out, I'm jumping on the bed." I warned.

He groaned and rolled over. I quickly hopped in the shower, shaved my legs and underarms, shampooed and conditioned my hair then used my body scrub. I rinsed off and got out before putting on my undergarments on.

I had a simple dress with a pair of boots to go with it. The necklace had the head of a bull for the center piece. My earrings were ones that I had before even meeting Bonner and the craziest thing was, they matched the ring.

I went back into the room and he was still asleep. "Bonner I warned you that if you weren't up when I got out I was going to jump on the bed." He groaned. I got up onto the bed and started to bounce.

"June. Five more minutes." He complained. "I gave you almost an hour and you have to be there by six. It's four o eight. Get your bull riding arse out of that bed otherwise your sleeping in the floor tonight." I said as I jumped.

He hit my legs with a pillow. I fell onto my knees as I hit the bed. I grabbed a pillow and started whacking him with it. "Fine I'm up, I'm up." He surrendered. "I'll get your clothes together while you get in the shower." I told him.

"Yeah yeah I know." He said getting a pair of boxers. I got his jeans and pearl snap out then put his hat and boots with them. He came out of the bathroom in his boxers and got his clothes. I went into the living area and sat down on the couch to pull my boots on.

Toya came out a few minutes later ready. Brody and Bridger came out ready after him. I went and knocked on the door to our bedroom and went in. He was still getting ready. "Bonner it's five ten. We've got thirty minutes."

He finished quickly because we always grabbed a bite to eat before the rodeo. I got his hat and put mine on my head. We walked down the hall with LJ and JB Bonner's brothers and dad were waiting on us with the truck. I put his hat on his head as we got in the elevator.

"Dating?" LJ asked. Bonner nodded. "Hope it lasts." JB said. "If the press doesn't ruin it for us." Bon told them.
