Ally's POV
Ever since Dallas broke up with me, I haven't been the same. I couldn't write songs for Austin and I definitely couldn't show my face around, afraid to see Dallas or pictures of Austin and Kira. It physically and mentally pained me everytime Austin and Kira shared some kind of passionate kiss together. But now I knew the truth. They were faking it. The whole relationship was for publicity. I knew that now thanks to Austin.
It's been three days since we started a secret relationship, so secret that our closest friends, Dez and Trish, don't even know. All they do know is that I am out of my funk and am now making my beautiful music as usual for Austin. But they have grown suspicious on why my love songs are growing stronger than any others.
Trish's POV
"Ally what's gotten into you lately?" I ask Ally. We were eating lunch at Mini's. She was all sad and depressed, practically fallen off the end of the earth for a week, and now she's singing and she's happy and she's written more love songs than actual songs for Austin to sing.
"What do you mean?" She asks, still with a smile on her face.
"I mean, why have you changed your mood so fast? What happened in the last few days that suddenly changed you? Your'e not telling me something!" I was gonna get this out of her one way or another. She put down her mini pizza and smiled politely at me.
"Trish, cmon. You know I wouldn't hide anything from you!" She says, then she sighs heavily. "I guess friendship means nothing if I'm not completely honest with you."
"Me and Austin have been secretly dating for three days." Awkward silence.
"I KNEW IT! I MEAN I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BUT I KNEW YOU WERE DATING SOMEONE!" I just had to scream that out loud. Ally looks at me with a smile of dissaproval.
"We kept it from everyone. We were afraid something bad would slip out. I don't think i could let myself go on, not knowing how Austin really felt. I was gonna end it when Dallas and I broke up..."
End it?
We both hear a snap and Megan, that devilish 10-year-old, pops up from behind a plant with a camera and a recorder.
"Wait till my readers hear about this one! Austin Moon, cheating on Kira Starr with songwriter Ally Dawson! Ally possibly thinking about ending her life? She said so herself and I have it recorded!" Megan scurries off and me and Ally gape at each other. We rush to find Austin and Dez.
