Austin's POV

I watched as Ally ran away crying. I hurt her. After I mentally sworn nothing would ever happen to her again, I hurt her. She wasn't my girlfriend anymore, it's over. I swear under my breath as I go back onstage. My cousins, Riker, Rocky, Rydel, and Ryland, were singing for the fans while I took a break. They were pretty good, the fans love them!

"Hey, I'm back LA! How'd you like my cousins?" The audience responds loudly and wildly. I smile wide, forgetting what just happened. "Well, they'll be touring the world soon and I'll be joining them! Buy tickets for their tour guys!" The crowd goes wild again.

"Thank you!" My  cousins say as they walk off stage, each one hugging me as they leave. "Love you, Mooners!" Ryland says. My Mooners scream with delight.

"Thank you, Los Angeles! Tonight was amazing!" I say. The crowd starts to chant "Encore!" and I smile bigger and brighter. "Sorry! I'd love to sing more for you guys but the night is only so long! Goodnight LA!"

I run off the stage. Trish and Dez were talking to my cousins about touring and stuff. I grab a towel and wipe off my sweat before heading in there direction.

"So, yeah, it'd be great if you guys came on tour with us next summer!!" Rydel suggests.

"That sounds great!" Trish says. They see me coming and wave at me to come over. I walk over with a smile.

"What's up?" I ask.

"Just making some extra tour plans." Rocky says.

"Awesome! Hey, have any of you seen Ally anywhere?" I ask out of nowhere. They all exchange glances then look back at me. "What?"

"Look, Austin, we saw Ally. She came back here to talk to us then left...with someone..." Trish says to me, not looking in my eyes.

"Who?" I ask, although already knowing the answer to this question. "Who?"

"Elliott..." Dez says quietly. My heart drops from my chest, down to my stomach. I start to breathe heavier and louder. I drop everything and run.

I don't know where I'm going. I'm just running. I run out of the arena. I run past my fans. I run to where I know Ally could be. The last time we were in LA, Ally went to this Observatory in Los Angeles. She has to be there. Elliott would've taken her there if she asked. I keep running, stopping occasionally cause I'm so out of shape. Once I reach there, I look up to the top and see the beautiful brown hair I love so much, blowing in the wind.

"Ally!" I call up to her. She doesn't hear me, but someone peers over the edge and I hide quickly. I look up and see Elliott looking around, everywhere on the floor except on me. When he looks away, I take a deep breath and sigh of relief.

She was definitely with him. He probably had his arms around her right now. I could already imagine her silent tears falling down her expressionless face. And I'm not there to wipe them away. or tell her everything is going to be fine. Or to stop her from chewing her hair. I can't do any of that because I'm the reason she's upset. The reason why she's crying. The reason why she's getting all nervous about something.

I walk back to the stadium. All this time I never checked my phone. I heard it buzzing mutiple times in my pocket. I sit on a curb and open up all the messages I missed.
