The nurse comes and cleans my bandages, causing a lot of pain. I yelp and squirm, but it's no use.

I need serous help to get out of here. It's like a personal living HELL. It hurts all the time and I don't want to be here.

I look around and ask for Liz to come back inside. She comes back in and sits next to my bed.

"I can't believe you did that, Rain..." She looks at me with sorrow. "I just can't believe it... You can be such and airhead sometimes." She laughs softly.

"And I can't believe I kissed you." I smile and take her hand.

"You kissed me and ran." She giggles. "I don't know whether it's a good thing or a bad thing."

"I'd take it as a good thing." I look at her and smile. I turn my head back to face the ceiling and close my eyes.

"I'm sorry." I open my eyes again.

"For?"

"Making you worry." I look at her deep emerald green eyes.

She looks at me and gives me a small smile. She lays her head on the mattress of the hospital bed and falls asleep.

I fall asleep a few minutes later also.

I don't dream of anything.

I wake up later, looking at the clock beside the bed. It's about 9:00 in the afternoon. Liz is gone. I sit up. She must have left. I look around the room, seeing the sun starting to go down through the window. The sky is shining a beautiful pink/orange color.

I watch as the sun continues to set.

I move my arm a little bit, wearing out some of the pain. I grab the remotes for the tv and turn it on. As I flip through the channels, I start to think about if I will be able to get out of the hospital in time for Liz to leave.

I really will miss her. And I bet she'll miss me too.
