Prolouge: Hie, I'm Cori Myers

Hie, hello, how are you? I'm Cori, Cori Myers. I'm originally from Chicago, but moved to Dallas when I was 5 yrs old. Just before kindergarten. It's alright though, I'm moving back to Chicago, now that I'm 17 yrs old. I'm going to be a senior. Yay! I've played hockey since I was 5. Now I've been playing it forever it seems like. The teams in Dallas aren't as good as the ones in Chicago. My dad told me, and I've seen the difference. I'm not really looking forward to playing on a team with boys. I'm used to playing with tough, tomboy girls. I wouldn't call myself a tomboy. I mean, I love makeup! Not to much to were it covers up my face. Just on my eyes it's pretty. I know my life, and me, is weird! I miss Dallas though, it was fun there. Well, I better make some friends here. There is two girls that live on my new street. I met one just a few hours ago. Her name is Emalee, and she says the other girl, which is Kayla, lives on this street. Surprisingly, Emalee is a fan of hockey to! She says, Emalee, is actually from Dallas too, and absolutely loves the Stars. Although she says the Hawks (Blackhawks) are a really good team to though. She's a little shorter than me, and has brown hair, and glasses.Well that's a one up for me. I found a hope-to-be-soon-friend. I like her, Emalee so far. Can't wait to meet Kayla at the bus stop in a few days. I know school, ick! It starts soon. Hopefully I'll meet a bunch of nice people there. I'll be going to Glenbard North High School. Sounds pretty ligit. I already toured the school, and it's a small school, but I met a lot of nice people, that were browsing around the school too. Well, I can't wait for school!
