Nishinoya Yuu x Reader: On A Stormy Night

The night sky was pitch black, the heavens were covered by dark, nimbus clouds, the wind howls furiously, thunders gave mighty roars, and flashes of lightning illuminated the seemingly dark abyss. A storm was passing by, and it hindered the supposed date of (Y/N) and Nishinoya.

You two were upset that you have to forcefully cancel your plans for that very night, due to the fury of the nature's turbulence. You were trapped in your home, since it was raining cats and dogs outside, and it was even accompanied by peals of thunder and flashes of lightning.

Nishinoya gazed at the window in exasperation, while you hid in a corner, curled up into a ball whilst covering your ears, afraid of the loud noise of thunder. You squeaked as you heard the sound of thunder, then shivered in fright, getting the attention of your sweetheart.

"Ne, little (Y/N)-chan is afraid of thunder? Why??", Nishinoya squealed.

"Yuu!", you snapped, then yelped as the lightning illuminated your figures.

You quickly curled yourself into a ball as you heard thunder, then covered your ears. The energetic boy sighed as he looked at your trembling form. Then, he quickly ran towards you, and wrapped his muscular arms around you.

"You actually don't have to afraid. Lightning won't hurt you if you're inside! And thunder is only a sound." Nishinoya spoke as he looked at the lightning illuminating the black sky while rubbing your back in a circular motion.

"But lightning is too loud... ", you contradicted as you pushed your ears really hard.

"Geez. It's not that loud." Nishinoya stated nonchalantly, but as he heard thunder, he jumped and yelled in surprise.

Your eyes widened in shock, then you giggled at his reaction. You thought he was cute when he gets surprised.

"Yuu! You jumped as you heard the thunder. Are you afraid?", you snickered.

"Me? Afraid? Why would I be?", he replied proudly.

Another ear-splitting sound of thunder was enough to make Nishinoya jump from the floor to the couch. You rolled around the floor, laughing at him.

"Nishinoya Yuu! You're afraid!", you exclaimed, pointing at him.

"What the hell? No! I'm not afraid! I'm only surprised, got that?!", the spiky haired male denied.

"You're afraid!"

"No!"

"You're afraid too!"

"I'm not afraid, (Y/N)!"

Just then, another booming growl of thunder startled the both of you, making you two jump and scream in unison. You then gazed at each other, blinked, then burst in laughter.

"So, we are both afraid then!", you exclaimed.

Nishinoya laughed, then turned serious.

"No."

"Prove it," you challenged.

Thunder then gave you a scare, then you buried your face in Nishinoya's chest and clutched on his shirt.
