"Man I don't think I can run anymore." I say to myself as I go on all fours. I start looking around me with my blurred vision to see if that thing whatever it was, is still chasing me or if it's nearby. Nope nada, nothing is here but I swear I don't remember ever getting to the park, heck if I wasn't so tired I think I would probably care a little bit more, but I doubt it. The suns going down and I've been running for god knows how long.

"Forget this, ugg why does it have to be me of all people today." I say as I sigh to myself. As I start lying down I start noticing how much blood is on the ground.

"Geez, no wonder I'm so freaking tired. There's freaking pools of the stuff from where I ran. No wonder this thing hasn't shown up yet it doesn't have to out run me at this rate it just has to follow my trail until it finds me laying here. Wow, isn't that great it's either really smart or it just gave up a while ago and I'm overestimating it. Either way I'm in no shape to run, or probably stand for that matter."

Well I'm not going anywhere period if I keep losing blood so the best I can do right now is possibly wrap my injured arm in my shirt and hope someone can come along and help me out. I wrap my arm as best to my abilities which is pretty bad, but who cares the more pressing issue right now is what do I do now. I could try calling someone else but who, Nate and Lucy don't have a car, I could try my mom again that doesn't sound so bad. I reach for my phone and as soon as I open it I know I'm screwed because I can't read anything on the freaking screen.

"God dang it!" I say to myself as loud as I can which turns out to be a measly whisper. Well option two then call up random numbers and hope for the best. I dial up the first number and nothing, and the second and nothing too. Well that's great guys hope you all can keep enjoying yourselves as much as I can. The third number I end up calling actually ends up picking up great let's see who do we have.

"Hello?" I force myself to say as loud as possible so it isn't just a whisper.

"Lance, is that you? I thought you would be joining us on the game tonight." I hear Lucy say in a confused tone.

"Ah, hey Lucy glad I got a hold of you. Yea sorry about that but I have some serious problems going on right now."

"Oh really alright well I'll tell Nate you won't be showing up. I'll see you later.."

"Wait, Lucy! Can you hold on for a sec I could really use your help right now. Could you possibly get someone to pick me up and take me to the hospital or call the hospital yourself?" I say as quickly as possible before she hangs up.

"What was that Lance? I can barely hear you over the game. Hey I'm going to go we'll talk about whatever is going on tomorrow, okay? Alright see you." She says so cheerfully.

"No, Lucy wait!"

*call ends*

"God dang it Lucy, why is it everyone hangs up on me well it doesn't matter. I hate my dumb luck, heck maybe it's karma for not talking to them earlier. Either way this sucks, at this rate I doubt that I'll be around to talk tomorrow anyways." I say to myself in a whisper unable to force myself to talk louder any longer.
