I start to look around to get an eye for which island is closest to me, to get a general idea of the route I should take. As soon as I get my eyes locked on one I back up a step or two then start running at a jog towards it getting faster as I go. I reached the edge jump and all of a sudden all the islands start floating in different directions. Yes they were floating already, but their moving now. "What the heck!" I shout in surprise.
I turn my body to the right and try to throw my arms toward the direction of the island in hope to get a grip on the island before I fall down another hole. I'm able to get my right hand to hold on to the ledge of the island, and right before I could prepare myself for anything else the island stops moving and I go slamming into it painfully. Biscuit then asks me a question on the loudspeaker, "Do you want to quit because we can stop now if you like?"
I groan with the pain and respond with, "No I can do this I'm not going to quit that easy Biscuit." I start to pull myself up the island, when it starts moving again making it a bit more difficult.
"Oh really then just keep climbing then, it will only get harder from here."
"I figured that already Biscuit, and if your testing me Biscuit by asking if I want to quit. You can just stop cause it's not going to work I'm not going to quit."
"Alright then, but if you change your mind then just shout I'll be here, eating my popcorn."
"Of course you have to start using food against me."
" Whatever do you mean?"
"Ha ha." I say as I just reach the top, but as soon as I do that the island does something else and starts to tilt, as if it was trying to get rid of me. "Oh god, I'm not going to fall down another hole and do that again." I say as I hang on for dear life on the edge of it from where I climbed up. That's when Biscuit decide he had enough.
"Well I'm starting to get tired of this and I'm sure you are too. You have ten minutes to reach the other side and complete the trial before I end it myself.
"What you expect me to finish this in ten minutes!"
"Yes, why not I'm sure you'll be able to come up with something."
My brain started to go into overdrive trying to think up a way to reach the end in less than ten minutes. I clearly can't jump from one to the other at this rate I'm not that athletic. I'm not close enough to just dive and hope for the best that would just be crazy. I wonder if I lean my island towards the direction of the other side of the room will it go towards that direction? I start to lean towards my right as best I can without falling and just focus all my effort on holding on. It starts moving very slowly but soon I get about halfway there, I then decide to yell at Biscuit for a time check. He then says, "You have three minutes left to complete the trial, why are you thinking of quitting while your ahead?"
"No, not by a long shot." I respond, but he's right if it took me about seven minutes just to make it halfway across then how is it I'm going to make it to the other side. That's when an idea pops in my head. I decide to climb back up the island and balance it out. I look up and there's another island floating right ahead of me but slanted in a very steep angle with the top of it facing towards me. "Well this is a long shot, but it's the only choice I got so here goes." I start running towards the edge of the platform straight towards the other platform. I didn't stop there I kept running with all the momentum I could muster alongside the other platform and jump. I have to make this jump if I want any chance of making it to the other side. When I jumped I was able to see a button alone in the middle of the platform at the end of the challenge.
"Hey I'm sure you can guess what that button there is for. You better hurry you only got a minute left."
Dang it this is going to be close, let's hope this works out like it did in my head. I hit the ground feet first then, do a roll on the ground to absorb the impact through my whole body, instead of just my legs. As soon as I do that I sprint as fast as I can and dive to hit the button. When I hit the button I hear a noise almost like a clicking sound happen. "Hey Biscuit did I do it?" I yell not sure in which direction I should be talking to.
"Yes, yes you did. I'm quite surprised you made it in the first place, let alone the way you had decided to get there. Congratulations on a job well done."
"I hope we're having tacos when I get up there." I say as I begin breathing deeply.
"Sure thing a deals a deal I guess." Biscuit says ending it with a small chuckle.
