(Back to the present)

"Oh, Lancey-poo I missed you so much please don't go missing again without taking me with you first." Yuki says/whispers in my ear as I feel tears drip on my shoulder and neck.

"Alright I'll try my best to not go missing again, and if I do I'll try even harder to come back as soon as I can. Does that sound good with you Yuki?" I say in a soft whisper.

*sniffle, "Ye-yea I guess." she says as she starts to stop crying.

"You feeling a bit better now?"

"Yea, but you have to give me a piggy back ride to my classes for the rest of the day."

"Again? Last time I did that it was only for one class." I said in a bit of surprise remembering last time I did that. Too be fair I did get people to "move" out the way, ah good times.

"Well you made me worried, and it would make me feel better!" she had said puffing up her cheeks.

"How could I say no to that face." I say as I stick my tongue out at her.

"Hey you're not off the hook just yet! You have some serious explaining to do later!" Nate yells at me cutting Yuki off before she could talk.

"Nate, Nate, Nate I'm really disappointed in you. You're supposed to be the nice and polite guy of the group yet you go and cut off poor old Yuki here." I say as I nod my head towards the girl with her hands around my neck. After I say that she starts to sniff her nose a bit and hides into my shoulder.

"Yea, Nate why do you gotta be so mean to me?" she says in the most sad and adorable way as possible. Ah, I love it when a good joke comes together.

"Look Nate, your making her cry. Don't you have no shame!" I say in a accusing tone.

"I-I, La.." Nate starts to mumble in an irritated tone.

"Yea, no shame." Lucy says while shaking her head left and right.

"Lucy not you too! I'm being serious here Lance where have you been?" he says in as serious tone he could make. At this point I start laughing.

"Alright, alright that's enough teasing Nate for now at least. Good job Yuki you did that perfectly." I say as I turn my head to her.

She blushes a bit at that then says, "Oh, it was nothing. Oh yea, Lance guess what!"

"What is it?"

"I talked to the counselor and since we had all the same classes but different times I was able to get my schedule changed. Now we are in all the same classes together!" She says excited after she hops off my back and runs in front of me.

"Wow that's great to hear. She never did anything like that before for me when I asked her." As I say that last part under my breath.

"Lance I'm pretty sure asking for permission to drive your motorcycle inside the school to get to class to class is never going to be allowed." Nate says to me in mocking tone.

"Hey it was only one time!"

"You had asked after the fact!"

"Well if they weren't fine with people doing it then maybe they should put it in the school handbook." I say as I cross my arms and look the other way.

"They shouldn't have to in the first place! I do have to admit it was funny when you drove that into the cafeteria and asked for pizza to go." Nate says laughing at the memory.

"Hey you still owe me for the ride to the cafeteria, along with all those fries you ordered. I mean I can understand being hungry, but making me pay for it. Do you know how much that and gas cost!" I say in an irritated tone, and with that Lucy, Nate, and Yuki start laughing.

"You didn't tell me about you driving a motorcycle in the school." Yuki says after giggling a bit.

"I didn't really think about it at the time. I was more worried about other things when I was teaching you to drive the motorcycle." I say shivering at the memory.

"Oh yea that." she says giggling some more.

"Wait you've been teaching her to ride your motorcycle! I've been asking you for forever to do that for me!" Nate says in anger.

"Nate my 'cycle is only for people who do crazy awesome stuff like Yuki here." I say as I pat Yuki's head.

"Aw, thanks Lance I didn't do much." she says as she shrinks down shyly.

"Knowing you Lance you're never going to let me on your bike."

"Yea you got that right." I say back in response with a cheap smile.
