"Oh, don't worry I don't. I just have the keys." I hear from the pink haired girl full of enthusiasm. I then walk over and look at the motorcycle she has right behind her. Just as I suspected. A slick black motorcycle that closely resembles something like a Kawasaki Ninja, with multiple tiny blue stars following the pattern in bulk in the front that dies out the closer you get to the back of the machine.
"Nice ride. When did Lance give you the keys?" I say blankly as I look from the custom bike to her.
"Oh he made me a copy when he was giving me driving lessons for the motorcycle."
"I swear you two only had a week to get to know each other and are practically dating at this point." I say looking down and shaking my head, while I walk towards the bike.
"W-what, n-n-no me and Lance aren't dating. Like he'd ever ask me out, we're only good friends that's all." She says a bit taken aback and slightly defensive as her face gets a bit brighter pink.
"Yea, yea, ok. Well I might as well tell him you're not interested then." When I finish that sentence I see Yuki's face puff up and turn bright pinkish/red as her face turns into one of slight irritation.
"Well are you going to pass me the keys or start driving yourself Pinky?" I say as I pop open my glasses and sit a bit farther back on the bike.
"Don't call me that! You know how I hate it when you call me that, and for your information I'm the one driving."
"Then why did you bring me along then Pinky?"
Yuki then moans an ugh and answers with a "I wish I didn't bring you now, but I need someone to navigate. Plus you know Lance better than anyone, so I figured you could help me track him down."
"Alright then. Well come on then and start driving our targets getting away."
"Oh yea!" With that last yelp, Yuki hops in front of Jude and puts on her helmet. Unlike most motorcycles Lance's was custom built from scratch and made with all sorts of things and features to make it stand out and more one of a kind. I'm assuming from the few times I saw it that he somehow made it behave/steer exactly like one would in a typical cartoon racing game considering how his driving is, it is almost identical to his in those gaming situations. As well as from the looks of the bike by just sitting in the back you can tell he did a bunch of remodeling and adding of attachments since there is a keyboard built into the big area of what would normally just be a gas tank. Instead of just normal gauges and a windshield in front/above it to protect them. The windshield is a bit higher up and also has a longer more drawn out slant to allow for more space underneath it. Underneath said windshield seems to be a screen as well as the gauges built into either side of the currently off screen, but whatever all of them mean still eludes me. Between the monitor and the keyboard is the typical place where you would insert your key to start the vehicle, but right next to it on the left and right are two things that are plugged in that I do not recognize. The one on the left is the smaller of the two in size only slightly bigger than the key plugged in. The other on the right resembles a small block that would fit comfortably in someone's hand and seems to be plugged in a slight bit deeper than everything else, with security/safety locks to keep it pinned in place, as well as a small glass dome covering it for extra measure. I don't know what that is, but it looks important. I'll have to look into that for another day, my analysis on Lance's ride aside back to the main events.
Yuki inserts the key into the motorcycle and turns it. The computer screen then boots up and loads a message asking for the user password. Yuki types a series of buttons on the keyboard and then the screen changes and reads "Welcome Yuki" in bold text then goes to the main screen of the device.
"Alright Jude you do know how to ride passenger on a motorcycle right?"
"Yes, I've been with Lance before. He gives me a ride around town every now and then. It's just been awhile is all."
"Well you better hold on tight. Lance nearly fell off during our driving lessons and almost got hit by a cop car."
"Wait what do you mean by..?"
"Hold on!" and just like that Yuki and I began blazing right after Lance, and we were not going to stop until we followed him to where ever he was going.
