"Romano Hideshi..." Jax mouthed as he watched the human descend upon him, landing with his legs sinking into the snow up to his knees. "Well then, this was unforeseen." the boy with the short, jet-black hair stated as he trudged through the snow, coming closer to Hideshi, who was still trying to dig himself out.
"To what do I owe the pleasure of meeting the boy who sees demons once again?" Jax asked, a black trench coat flowing behind him in the wind as he came closer to Hideshi, away from the rock walls of the mountain. His ability to keep himself from sinking in the snowbank gave Jax an appearance of a much taller individual than he actually was, especially to Hideshi, who had to turn his face upwards just to look upon him. "
"Skiing..." Romano shot at his former classmate as he finally was able to dig his legs out, now in a sitting position.
"I think you're lying to me Hideshi..." Jaax stated coldly, glaring down at the former Spirit Detective. "That's a sin..."
"I can see you still haven't developed a sense of humor..." Hideshi groaned, standing himself upright, so that he could clearly be seen to be several inches taller than the other boy.
"I have no need for it, just as you have no purpose in lying to me about your agenda in this place... Knowing you, you're probably the current Spirit Detective of Human World. It's an obvious choice given your advanced ability to see and interact with apparitions..."
"Aw shucks, you're making me blush Jax..." Hideshi spoke sarcastically once again, his eyes averting over to the bodies of Captain Taiga and Seso, filling him inside with anger and confusion. This son of a bitch. Why the hell is he associating with demons? Never mind that, how did he learn so much about apparitions and Spirit Realm in the first place?
"That's just the cold..." Jax replied stagnantly. "Regardless, I find you to be ever more fascinating the more I think about you and how you were back in those days..." he continued.
"How so?"
"Ever since we were children in kindergarten, I always got this sort of... overwhelming feeling around you."
"Hey! Woah now, I have a girl friend now and, I don't really swing that way..." Hideshi took a step back away from Jax.
"Not like that you dolt! I meant an overwhelming feeling like swimming in the deepest area of a lake, or having a tremendous weight placed on my shoulders... I didn't know it then, but in actuality, I was sensing your Spirit Energy and all of it's overwhelming power. By the time we graduated, I think I could safely put your total Spiritual Power to a level matching an upper C class apparition. After your death and reincarnation though, I can definitely assume that you became even more powerful. Of course, since then you've undergone Spirit Realm's training and have become more accustomed to your own power. Today, as you stand before me now... I can feel the energy of an S class apparition for sure..."
"Yea, well after you killed my colleges, I'm pretty pissed, so may I suggest running away like a little bitch to you? You're going to want to get as far away from me as possible when I decide to kill you..." Hideshi threatened the shorter young man, clenching his fist out in front of himself.
"Why should I? I have nothing to fear from you." Jax responded, still stone-faced. "You may have great power, but I have transcended the limits of an apparition... I have become so much more..."

On the other side of the mountain, Boz, Doz and Queebo all continued to flee down the mountainside, the Spirit World Defense officer Dodin tailing them closely behind, intent on catching the demons and using them for interrogation in case Captain Taiga and Seso failed to capture their leader.
