Chapter 2

Charlie's POV

I pulled my pickup into a my usual parking spot and hopped out. I grabbed my bag and walked over to my boys. My boys were Chase, Gage, Zane, and the twins, Justin and Jason. We did our handshakes and then started talking. It's really funny because my guys gossip almost as much as normal girls do. Apparently there was a new kid today and his motorcycle was the one that had parked next to me. I wonder if I have any classes with him. Oh, well, I guess we'll find out, won't we?

"Charlie, come on," Zane called. "The tardy's gonna ring." "Coming!" We all had first period together, English with Mrs. Locke. The bell rings and Mrs. Locke does attendance.  Then, there's a boy standing at the door. Mrs. Locke motions him in, "Class, we have a new student." Then, she looks at him, "Please introduce yourself to the class."  He smirks, "The name's Ross. Shawn Ross."

Well, somebody's cocky. Then again, he has good reason to be since he looks like a magazine bad boy model. Wait, what am I saying? Most of the girls were drooling over him and he was loving it.  Mrs. Locke was looking through papers. "Let's see here, you will be sitting by Charlie. Charlie, raise your hand." I sighed and the boys chuckled. I shot them a glare as I raised my hand.

His smirk became bigger as he came back and sat down. He held out a hand, "I'm Shawn." I looked at him and said as coldly as I could, "I heard." Then I turned back to the guys and we started talking about our plans for the skatepark after school. "Okay, so we're gonna stop by the Diner on our way to the skatepark?" I asked them. "Yeah, you driving us over there?" Jason asked. I nodded. "Attention, class, today we are starting the drama Romeo and Juliet." Mrs. Locke announced. A simultaneous groan went up from the entire class. What a wonderful way to start a Monday. Not.
