It Happened That Summer

Hi here's chapter 4! ENJOY!

I remember one site that Ellie had where she could keep an online diary. It was called Secrectkeeper.mine.com. Maybe she wrote in there after she went to the Alley.

I logged on and saw the icons at the top of the page: friends, diary, mail, and notifications. I clicked on diary, and a small purple book appeared on the screen. I thought about Ellie and how her favorite color was purple. Not the dark, ominous, violet-looking purple, she liked a nice calm lavender color, with accents of green. The book said "Ellie's Secret Diary" on the front. I clicked the book and opened it to the first page.

**ELLIE'S DIARY**

July 12th

Dear diary,

I keep on getting a strange feeling of being watched. It's deep in my gut and I'm scared. I was walking to DSW today when I saw a Jeep Liberty colored a forest green, following me slowly down the block. I picked up my pace, so did the car. it got to the point where I was running, but I couldn't see because there were tears running down my face. I grabbed my phone and called 911.

911: 911 what's your emergency?

Me: I'm being followed.

911: please give me your location and we'll be there shortly

Me:93 Acorn Blvd, by the DSW.

911: we will be right there.

I got off the phone and looked behind me, there were no green cars, no Jeeps, and no suspicious cars. the police arrived and by that time I had stopped crying. The police asked me what color the car was, what model, and If I remembered the license plate number. I did! It was APR-1923, they said they'd try to track it and they'll keep in contact. They left and I went into DSW. I bought a nice pair of $70 shoes. As soon as I got down the block I heard a voice in my ear,"you're going to regret what you did." I turned around freaked, there was nobody there.

So, she was being followed on July 12th, 4 days before her disappearance. My phone started ringing and I jumped up to get it. I look at the caller ID.... IT'S WESLEY!! I answered the phone.

Me: Hey Wes.

Wesley: Hi Luna! How are you beautiful?

I blushed of course....

Me: Oh I'm fine, and how are you?

Wesley: I'm great, umm, I was wondering if you'd like to go to the movies with me.

I agreed, smiling, than I Hung up. Than my smile instantly disappeared. This will be my first date since Ellie went missing.
