Don't Let The Darkness Consume You

Chapter 2

So... I've decided that I'm going to update twice a day. Yay!

Raph's POV

Me and my brothers ran towards the lab only to see Master Splinter hunched over Karai's body, clinging to her like she was his last life source. We proceeded to walk over to him slowly, almost cautiously, like we were afraid of our own father. In this case however, I was. My fear was acknowledged when he turned around, his eyes shooting daggers into my soul.

"How could you!" He yelled, running full speed in my direction.

He knocked me down with a single kick to the chest, knocking all of the air out of my lungs. I hunched on the floor gasping for air. I felt a presence over me, but before I could do anything I was lifted off of the ground, no longer able to breath. I could hear my brothers yelling, but I couldn't make out their words. My vision was starting to go black. Just as the black was about to take over, the pressure around my neck released allowing me to breath again. I thought the torture was over until I was thrown into a wall on the other side of the lab. I heard a sicking crack just as I hit it.

I tried getting up again, but the pain was to much.

I could feel the ground crumbling away, leaving me floating.

Blackness engulfed me as if it wanted to swallow me hole and make me a part of it.
