Chapter 21

Raph's POV

"Raph." Leo whispered, walking towards me. I looked over at Ash to see her walking towards the ladder.

She turned towards me and mouthed, "I'll leave you two alone."

I smiled and looked back at Leo, who was now only two feet away from me. Before I knew what was happening Leo engulfed me in a hug, whispering in my ear.

"I'm so sorry Raph," He whispered. "I love you." My eyes widened as I realized what he had just said.

"Y-you do?" I asked, not sure what to believe.

He pulled back, looking into my eyes. "Yes." He whispered, as he closed the distance between us. At first the kiss was sweet and tender but before long his tongue ran across my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I gratefully let him in, feeling the way our tongues danced. We separated, needing air. I looked at him lovingly and he looked at me the same way, his ocean blue eyes shining in the moonlight.

"I love you too." I whispered, grabbing his hands.

"You're such a softy." Leo chuckled slightly.

"Only for you." I replied, smiling up at him.

Before we walked back to the lair, I said goodbye to Ash. When we left the park, Leo and I walked hand in hand through the sewers.

I felt my arm tug and turned around, realizing that Leo had stopped walking.

"Why did you stop?" I questioned.

"I need to ask you something." He replied, looking at the ground.

"Ok." I said, sitting on a sewer pipe. "What is it?"

"Why did you try to kill yourself?" He whispered.

"It's hard to explain." I replied. "But I can show you."
