Italy draws many pictures of little Holy Roman Empire, just the way he saw him when they were little. When he became an ally with Germany, he forgot how HRE looked because he had forgotten about those pictures. Once Germany accidentally saw him and got a terrible, painful headache. It was so bad that Japan had to take him to the hospital. When Prussia, Austria and Hungary asked what happened, he showed them the drawings. Prussia and Hungary exchanged a knowing look, leaving Austria puzzled. Nevertheless, Austria ordered for Italy to throw him away. Italy couldn't bear to and instead hid them in the back of the cabinet, covering them up with his endless supply of pasta boxes. That's why he never, whenever they're cooking pasta, lets Germany get the box of pasta. And a reason why Italy loves pasta, because it reminds him of HRE everytime he makes it.
