WARNING FEELS AND ANGST STUFF MAN IT HURTS ON THE INSIDE

France almost felt as broken as England after the Revolutionary War. Even when England seemed to recover and get back to insulting him, he urged America to at least try to get along with England. America agreed, but it all went wrong when England got suspicious and made America confess. England got really angry and completely shattered and let it all out on France during a meeting: blaming him for the Revolutionary War, blaming him for the reason why America wanted independence in the first place, blaming him for teaching America how to fight and supporting him, and even worse calling him a perverted rapist that forced love. France broke. There was a period of time when he locked himself out from the entire world. He got drunk on wine until Canada came and tried to stop him. Instead, France rapidly threw the bottles at Canada, angry and completely insane, which resulted in him having to be taken care of by Prussia. When Spain told France this, it only made him feel worse, hurting the country he learned to call his son. America walked in on France with a gun in hand and grabbed at it. Half by instinct, half drunk, France shot him in the knee. Spain finds America bleeding on the ground and France nowhere in sight. Even if Spain hated America, he immediately brought him to a hospital when America told him who had shot him. Spain felt France would do the same thing even if it was one of his enemies, like England. Speaking of England, he found America in the hospital and Spain told him about Canada...and England was done. Though he knew France was responsible for the two being injured terribly, he pushed away his pride and stubbornness and only blamed himself. Struck by grief and feeling the need to at least apologize, he searches for France only to find the city of Paris hit with strong rainstorms and scattered in chaos...most of it forming around the bottom of the Eiffel Tower. There, slipping and almost falling several times as he hurries up the tower, he sees him. Francis Bonnefoy, the annoying and idiotic but wise and easygoing once you get to know him, standing at the edge of the Eiffel Tower with a loaded gun pointed to his head. And that was it for England. He tackled France to the ground and grabbed the gun out of his hand, pointing it to his own head. "You stupid idiot, I shoot if you shoot. I need someone to annoy the hell out of when I get to heaven or hell, right you bloody Frog?" That was what England said that had made the two realize something important. Though they were so different, they both cared about the two they had taken care of when they were little, America and Canada, and most importantly: they cared about each other, whether they would admit it or not. After all, wouldn't life be so boring without someone to endlessly annoy and bother? Without needing to say it, France knew England was apologizing. And because of the tears that streamed down his face, he also knew it was raining in the United Kingdom. That was when they came, America with bandages messily wrapped around his knee and Canada with band-aids and scars across his skin, not at all angry for what France had did but only worried and terrified. And on that rainy night, the four huddled together for warmth, not even bothering that they were all soaking wet and injured, both on the inside and the outside, but that they at least had each other to survive the crazy world we call reality.
