(off to the DreamScape) The other three girls felt strange, and opened their eyes, to discover they were in what looked like Ponyville. Kayako was the first to speak. "Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?" Pinkie nodded. "But why are we here? Are we dreaming?" There was a loud scream from behind them, and the girls whipped around, seeing what appeared to be Kirenia, with what looked like licorice going through her heart, a shape suddenly lunged from the darkness, and tore her head off, devouring it. The girls screamed, and that caught the figure's attention. It stepped into the light, revealing itself to be The Candymare. Her candy corn grin smiled wide, a childish voice sounding from her mouth. "Trick or Treat?" Pinke panicked and did what she did best at times like this scream and run, with Carrie and Kayako right behind her. "Run. We should try and get to the library. Maybe the book from the story is in there somehow." Pinkie pushed herself to run faster, making sure the other two girls were close behind her. The library came into view, and the girls dashed inside, locking the door behind them. Pinkie ran over to the nearest bookshelf, and began to frantically look at the covers and spines of each book she pulled out, tossing them to the side when she discovered it wasn't the one she was looking for. Carrie spotted a book on the table in the middle of the room, and shouted to Pinkie. "The table. That might be it." Pinkie dashed over, her face lighting up. "This is it: Ye Old Tricks And Treats! We might have a chance!" There was a knock on the door, and the girls whipped around. The knock came again, and the girls started to back up. At that moment there were footsteps from behind them, and the girls screamed at the top of their lungs at what they saw. The Candy Mare was right behind them, and her candy corn grin was spread wide. "Trick, trick!" The girls bolted through the door, blasting the locked piece of wood off its hinges, and away from the frame. They rounded the corner, and ran right into Rarity, who had already been turned to candy. The girls started to run again, only to run into Rainbow Dash who too had become candy. The Candymare came up behind the candy ponies, and grinned a devilish grin. She leaned over to Pinkie, brought her mouth close to her ear, and whispered. "Pwank." Pinkie's blue eyes flew open, and she looked to the Candy Mare, seeing her trying to hold in a laugh, and all three girls shouted at the same time. "RAVEN!!" Kirenia then stood before them, where the supposed Candymare had stood just moments before, and the two candy ponies revealed themselves to be the real Rarity and Rainbow Dash, both wearing well made costumes. There was the sound of small hoofbeats coming close, and a little pink filly came into view, her red mane put up in a ponytail, with a little candy clip decorating it, blue eyes sparkling. "Did I do good Miss Kirenia? Did I, did I?" Kirenia picked up the filly in her arms, and nuzzled her. "Yes, Cotton. You were perfect." The other three girls looked at each other, before looking to Kirenia, demanding an explanation. "Ok, I'll explain. A few weeks ago, Dash found out you were going to tell Something Sweet To Bite, and told me I should read it for myself. I did, and got upset, I was going to tell you that I had found out, but then I heard you were starting to prank a lot more, and then I decided I would prank you with a Candymare dream, and just chase you around for a bit. But last week, I stumbled across the real Candymare, and she explained that she heard about me and was coming to see me, wanting to get an actual chance at having a normal life. I had to explain that I couldn't give her a perfectly normal life, but I could help. I told her that I could use the Spirit of Innocence inside of her, and turn her back into a filly, at the same age she was when she first went to that candy shop, before she transformed. But she would keep her powers. I would transfer them into a barrette, and she could use the powers in that, to turn into the Candymare, also she let me rename her to Cotton Candy, or Cotton for short. I'm just looking for her perfect someone, someone that'll take care of her." Cotton Candy cautiously stepped towards Pinkie, and tilted her head to the side. "Miss Kirenia, can she be my mommy?" Pinkie, who had been looking at Cotton, smiled a little bit. "I like that idea. Can she please be my daughter Kirenia?" Kirenia seemed to think about it for a moment, before smiling widely. "Yes. I think you two will be a perfect family." Kirenia reached into her pocket, and pulled out a necklace with a pink and red butterfly charm on it, and placed it around Cotton's neck. "Pinkamena Diane Pie, I hereby give to you your daughter: Cotton Candy Pie. When you awake she will be in your arms." Cotton dashed into the waiting hooves of her new mother, and hugged her tightly. Pinkie looked up to Kirenia with tears in her eyes. "Thank you Kirenia. Never before did I ever think I would get the chance to be a mother. Once I was banished from Equestria, I thought it was over, but now it's really happening. I get the chance to be a mother, and it looks like there's going to be a new pasta in the mansion." Dash stepped forward, while putting her usual lab coat back on, and ruffled Cotton's mane. "The best part is, I know you can sprout a pair of wings, so I'll have a flying buddy." Rarity came forward next, and smoothed the filly's mane. "And I know that you have a great sense of sweet themed fashion darling. So you can help me with my next line of Candy dresses." Cotton got a huge grin on her face, and started to laugh like she was the happiest filly alive. Cotton dashed over to Kirenia, and hugged her leg. "Thank you miss Kirenia." Kirenia smiled lightly, bent down, and gently pat Cotton's head. "I'm proud of you. You helped me prank someone, and found a family all in one night." Cotton beamed at the praise, then ran back to her new mother. Kirenia felt a hand on each shoulder, and turned, seeing Carrie and Kayako behind her, each had a hand on a shoulder. Carrie smiled widely. "I'm proud of you Kirenia. You've come so far. You've gone from being a scared little kid, to a brave woman who helps poor unfortunate souls find the right family." Kayako went next. "I'm proud to see you jump over every hurdle you've come across." A deep voice suddenly spoke. "And I'm proud to see you not following the same path I did." Kirenia whipped around, and saw her father standing there, a huge smile on his face. Kirenia ran over to her father and hugged him. "I at first I hated that you were helping people, but now that I see what you're doing, I can't help but be happy. I hope you never stray from this path." "Thanks daddy." Freddy looked into the shining eyes of his daughter, and hugged her again. "I think we need to wake up now. I know that I need to brief your suitors on how your birthday works, and tell them about a few of your perks. Then you need to get ready for the day. I believe Pamela said something about you going out to lunch with her." "I do." "Then go ahead Pumpkin. I'm going to let you end this dream." Kirenia nodded, stepped back, and concentrated, a white energy surrounding her, drawing from all the love and joy in the air. Kirenia let it burst out, and in a flash she was waking up. Looking over to Pinkie who was just now opening her eyes, she spotted Cotton next to her, the filly smiling at her mother, the necklace hanging from her neck. Kayako and Carrie were the next to wake up, smiling when they saw Pinkie and her new daughter. "I've got to get going. Michael should be here soon to pick me up." "Same here. If I know Billy, he's going to start calling me if I'm not out there waiting for him." Kayako and Carrie packed up their things and pets, and left, the sounds of cars pulling up followed. "I'd better start packing up. I'm going to have a lot to explain to Slender about this little filly. Come on Cotton, you've got a lot of new people to meet." "Ok Mommy. Bye Miss Kirenia." "Bye Cotton." After that, Kirenia was left to clean up her house, starting with the task of taking down the tent.
