Chapter 3: Fever Dream (Revised)

The next thing Kirenia knew, she was awake in her bed, the sun shining through her curtain, and Titan up and by her side. "I think I should check on Jason. I kinda lost him in the Scape, and Dad said I should buy cat food." Kirenia got up and put on the outfit she would normally wear when killing. A dress with black knee length skirt, matching belt around the waist, light crimson sleeveless top, black leggings underneath, a specially made pair of metal gloves with metal claws on the fingers, her black belted leather boots with the heel being made from a spike, and topped it off with her black fedora, making sure her ponytail would hold underneath it, then sat down at her vanity and began to apply her makeup. Titan was promptly fed, Kirenia's phone was taken from her charger, a bag was grabbed, and Kirenia was out the door, listening to her music.

Jason shot up, and made a mad dash for the bathroom, lifting his mask just as he began to vomit, silently cursing Freddy as the contents of his stomach continued to travel up his throat. The dogs suddenly starting going nuts, barking and howling, indicating that there was someone on the property. A knock and the sound of the door opening, had Jason looking away from the toilet, and attempting to stand, only to fail and fall back to his knees, with more vomit ensuing. A slightly muffled voice was heard moments after. "What happened to you? In all the years I've known you, I've never heard of you vomiting." Looking over, he could see Michael standing in the bathroom doorway, leaning against the frame. Jason lifted his hand and began to sign to Michael. 'I blame Freddy. He must've use some tranquilizer on me.' "Want me to take you Lecter, or do you want me to call Kirenia? She might know some herbal medicine to give to you." That got Jason thinking. Either go to Lecter and possibly have him discover the vision loss when he was examined, or have his childhood friend and love of his life come over and possibly have to take foul tasting herbs. Definitely Kirenia. 'Kirenia.' "I'll call her." Jason then promptly went back to vomiting.

Kirenia had just closed her gate after getting through her expansive garden, when her phone began to ring. Kirenia recognized the familiar tune and answered it. "Yes?" "Jason is vomiting, something about you dad and some tranquilizer. He had the option of either Lecter or you. And he chose you. You might want to hurry, his eyes look a little glassy, and his vomit is starting to turn red." The sound of vomiting followed his statement. "Can you teleport?" "If it's that bad. I was coming to check up on him anyway. After the fight yesterday my dad was acting weird, and I got worried. Give me a few minutes to grab what I need." "Ok, we'll wait for you outside." The phone was hung up, and Kirenia made the walk back through her garden to her house, grabbing a box from her fridge filled with herbs both dried and fresh, along with a few ice packs from her freezer, letting Titan into his outdoor pen while she was home, before teleporting to where she could sense Michael. She could already smell the vomit, and looking towards the closest cabin, Kirenia saw Jason with a bucket in between his legs, his face buried in it, and Michael next to him rubbing his back. "How much has he thrown up?" "I've dumped that bucket three times, and the bowl was almost full by the time I got here." "Damn." Kirenia stepped over, and get down on her knees, earning Jason's attention. "Jason, I need you to take of your mask completely. I want to get a good look at you, and get a look at your eyes, Michael said they looked a little glassy, and that worries me." Jason sighed, and carefully removed his mask, hearing Kirenia gasp, making him panic because he thought she didn't like what she saw, he went to put his mask back on, only to have a hand stop him. "Don't. I was just surprised. Now let's get started by getting you something for the vomiting." Kirenia reached into her bag, and pulled out a small container filled with a deep green liquid. "Drink this, it should help." Jason drank the foul tasting liquid, and instantly felt better, but he noticed through his blurry vision, that Kirenia had tilted her head. "That should've cleared up your eyes, I could've sworn it was blood loss, or something of the sort. This is beyond what I know, you'll have to go and see Lecter. I there anyway you'd be willing to go?" Jason could tell she was putting on that sweet smile she always did when they were kids, and it always got him to do whatever she wanted. He nodded, and put his mask back on, shakily standing up, nearly falling, to only have two pairs of arms capture him. "You should get home, I'll take him to Lecter, and call or text you when we know what's going on." "Thanks Michael, and I'm going to hold you to that." Kirenia turned, and promptly started to flip out. "Are you fucking serious, I just teleported across the lake. I can see my fucking Gazebo from here. Fuck it." Kirenia was gone in a flash of light, leaving the two men dumbstruck at the location of the Hybrid's house. Kirenia opened her eyes after the teleport and was mortified. Titan wasn't in his pen, and it looked like he had managed to pry the heavy duty chicken wire away from the posts, Kirenia began to frantically call for her beloved pet, doubting that the dog could've possibly gotten past the 9ft privacy fence her father had helped her build when she first got the house. "TITAN! HERE BOY!" The sound of something pulling into her driveway, had her making a mad dash for the gate, hoping it was someone with her Rottweiler. Opening the gate she saw none other that Leatherface parking his truck, with Titan in the back, and his own dog Mary-Sue in the cab with her owner. "TITAN!" Said dog look up at his owner, and instantly cowered, knowing he was in serious trouble. Leatherface stepped out with his Golden Retriever following, and opening up the tailgate having to force the frightened dog out, only when he turned to put Titan inside the fence did he notice Kirenia, and the relieved expression on her face. "Thank you so much, I have no clue how or why he got out." Leatherface motioned to his own dog, and Kirenia got the message. "Titan you're losing your balls tomorrow." Titan instantly yelped, and got a wide eyed look. (like the dog in the video) Leatherface set Titan down, and the dog instantly walked into the house, with his tail between his legs. "Thanks again. I need to go and handle this." Kirenia kissed his cheek, then ran into the house, leaving a flustered Leatherface behind. In the house, Kirenia had sent Titan to his kennel, while reminding him that he had nearly scared her half to death, and once the kennel was closed and locked, she promptly called the vet to set up an appointment, while glaring at her dog the entire time. "6 o'clock tomorrow morning? Got it, thanks." Kirenia suddenly got a text from Michael, and rushed to read it.
