Beast Boy x Reader

Chapter 2

You wake up hazily, blinking your surroundings into focus.

You see 4 faces surrounding you. Beast Boy, Robin, Starfire and Raven. You look around and Cyborg is sat next to you, typing on a laptop and watching SATS.

You notice your right arm is in a cast and that you're strapped down to a table. You try to move in a panic!

"Relax! We're not going to hurt you, we just want to help, but we couldn't chance anything. I'm sorry." Robin said walking closer to you.

Raven walked over to your face and took off some bandages on your forehead.

"We're supposed to change these every 4 hours. You took quite a hit..." Raven says, changing your forehead bandages and looking at your left eye.

You open your mouth and try to speak, but Starfire interrupts you.

"Hello friend! What is your name?"

"My name is (Y/N)" you say.

"(Y/N), thank you so much for pushing me out of the way." Beast Boy smiles.

"It's no problem. Just doing my job I guess." You say.

The eye contact between you and Beast Boy lingers until Cyborg speaks up.

"So your blood pressure is good, and you're stable so that's all that matters! You fractured your wrist and broke your arm — hence the cast, and you had quite a few stitches in your forehead and arm." Cyborg gives you an awkward smile.

"Which means, it will be best if you do not use your powers for a little bit, until your arm heals properly." Raven says.

Your mouth drops.

"But you can totally stay here until you recover!!" Beast Boy says excitedly.

Robin gives him a weird we-didn't-discuss-this look then turns to you and smiles.

"Oh this will be so fun!!" Starfire smiles.

"It's settled, you can stay here to recover." Robin says.

"Thank you all, but it's no problem I can go home..." You say.

"Of course not, (Y/N) you can't recover alone!" Beast Boy says.

"Okay fine if it isn't a problem." You smile.
