Beast Boy x Reader

Chapter 16

You and Beast Boy finish up and head to the living room where the rest of the titans were channel surfing.

"(Y/N)! How are you feeling!?" Starfire exclaims as soon as she notices you.

You give her a smile and touch your stitches. "Never better." You joke sarcastically.

"Good! I am so happy to hear such wonderful news!" Starfire flies over to you giving you a huge hug.

As soon as she tightens her grip, lifting you up, your body gets stiff and out of absolutely no where a spark of fire shoots out from one of your hands.

Star drops you.

"What was that?" Robin asks looking up.

"I— I uh..." you stutter, just as confused as everyone else.

"Do you think you still have those fire powers Slade gave you? Because that would actually be an amazing asset to the team!" Cyborg jumps up.

You clench your fists together and concentrate on forming a ball of fire energy. Low and behold your hands become incased with flames.

"Woah." Raven says. "You should be careful with that, don't want anyone getting hurt." Her monotone voice is somewhat calming.

"This is so strange but awesome!!" You jump up with joy.

"Just don't light anything on fire. Or I'll end you." Raven gives the smallest smirk.

A loud notification sound came from the television gaining all the titans attention.

"Breaking news! Four fishermen were dragged out to sea by an unknown force, resulting in their boat tipping and spilling two tons of acid waste into the ocean!" The news reporter announced. "We have not yet discovered their bodies. We send condolences to the men's families."

"That's awful!" You exclaim.

"Should we go and help?" Star asks.

"What about your new fire powers, (Y/N)? Do you think that would hurt you?" Robin asks.

"Who cares lets go help find these guys!" You yell. "Besides I'm sure I'll be fine."

"I've got just the thing. The titan submarine!" Cyborg jumps. The rest of the titans follow him to the garage where the submarine is kept.

Everyone piles in but because there is only five seats you had to share with Robin.

The submarine glides into the water and slowly emerges.

"Why can't (Y/N) sit with me?" Beast Boy asks through his mic.

"Because, BB, you're our secret weapon and you're going to have to leave some times and it'll be easier if she's not in the way." Cyborg says.

"Ugh." Beast Boy groans.

"We are about 200 feet under." Raven announces.

"(Y/N) you look really pretty." Beast Boy says through his mic.

"Thanks." You laugh.

"You know—" Beast Boys mic cuts off.

You turn around to see him still talking to himself.

"I shut off his mic." Cyborg laughs.

When Beast Boy notices no one answering him he changes into a fish and drops through the floor into the ocean. He swims and crashed onto Cyborgs window.

Cyborg turns his mic back on and Beast Boy returns to the sub.

"Thank you." Beast Boy says.

"900 feet. Does anyone see anything?" Raven asks.

"No." You answer.

"I'm taking it down farther." Robin says.

"1200 feet." Raven announces. "Almost at crush depth. Don't take it down farther."

Suddenly the glass surrounding you and Robin starts to crack. Water starts gushing in as the cracks get bigger.

Beast Boy jumps out, changes into an octopus and wraps around the cracks.

Just then Cyborg and Starfire glass both starts cracking. Best Boy stretches and tries to reach everyone but can't.

"Were going down!" Raven yells.

You and Starfire both start tearing up. You place your hand to the glass under one of Beast Boys tentacles.

The glass above you and Robin completely shatters.

"It's okay. Save them." You mouth to Beast Boy as you and Robin float away.

You choke on water as you mouth "thank you."

Nearly 1600 feet you and Robin decide to accept the fate you can't swim back up.

Your world starts to get blurry and dark. You start to freeze. Before you pass out, you feel a hand on your shoulder.
