Beast Boy x Reader

Chapter 17

You wake up with a jolt choking on water. You choke on your breath as you try to manage to spit out water that filled your lungs.

You open your eyes and everything shifts from blur to focus.

A tall guy in a blue suit with long black hair lifts himself off of you.

"Sorry this might be a weird introduction, I'm Aqualad. Glad you're okay." Aqualad smiles.

You stare at him hazily trying to figure out where you are. Your eyes dart across the cave you are laying in.

Your heart sinks as soon as you notice Beast Boy standing above you. Along with all of the other titans.

Robin stood before you with a towel wrapped around his shoulders and handed you one.

"Thanks." You grab the towel and stand up.

Beast Boy smiles and runs to hug you. "I'm so glad you're okay. I thought I lost you. I thought I lost everyone." Beast Boy squeezes you tighter.  

The rest of the titans join in for a group hug.

After everyone pulls off you pop the question.

"What happened?"

"Aqualad here was swimming and noticed us passed out and brought us here. He sent whales to bring the ship with Cy, Star and Raven here." Robin explains.

"Thank you." You smile at Aqualad. "Thank you for saving my friends." You give him a quick kiss on the cheek.

"Woah Beast Boy, I thought you were supposed to be green not red?" Cyborg nudges Beast Boy who turned red seeing you kiss Aqualads cheek.

"I could've saved her. I could've saved all of you." Beast Boy mutters, clearly jealous he couldn't be your hero.

"The thing is... you couldn't have." Aqualad chimes in.

Beast Boy tries to get in his face but he is clearly shorter.

Aqualad giggled at how much taller he is than Beast Boy.

"Oh you think that's funny, huh?" Beast Boy put on a fake tough voice.

"Guys calm down. I don't care which one of you saved me or who didn't I'm just glad everyone is here and safe. You have nothing to be jealous about Beast Boy." You say.

Robin walks closer to everyone and asks, "what are we going to do now? Our sub is broken and only Beast Boy can breath under water."

"Don't worry I got Tramm working on the ship. He's great at fixing things." Aqualad says.

"I have an idea." Raven says. "I think there's a spell that will allow me to put bubbles on a couple of your heads that will allow you to breath underwater. I can't do everyone though. Maybe two of you."

"That will definitely come in handy." You say.

"It's pretty late and I think we all had a long day, you guys should probably get some rest. It might not be totally comfortable down here but I got some blankets and stuff." Aqualad laughs.

"He's right. We will also have an early morning. Get some rest." Robin commands.
