Beast Boy x Reader

Chapter 21

"Bb?" You grumble while slowly waking up.

You stretch your arm across the bed and the spot where Beast Boy should be was empty. Your heart sinks at the thought of him leaving in the night.

Suddenly your door slides open.

"Good! You're awake!" Beast Boys smiling face lights up.

You smile. "I - I thought you left?"

"Oh, no. Sorry! I did this!" Beast Boy brings his arms that were tucked behind his back to the front, presenting you with a tray full of food. "Breakfast in bed!"

"Oh my! You're so sweet." You smile big as Beast Boy walks to the bed.

"I figured since it was raining it'd be nice." Beast Boy passes you the tray while you sit up. He then climbs into bed beside you.

You kiss him on the lips then take a sip of the green tea in front of you.

"This is perfect." You kiss him again. "But out of all teas, green?" You laugh.

"I thought it was funny!"

"It is. And also my favourite." You wink.

You and Beast Boy slowly eat your breakfast.

"I love being here." You say while biting into your toast.

"I love that you're here." Beast Boy locks eyes with you.

"Hey, if it weren't for me pushing you out of the way all those months ago and breaking my arm I wouldn't be." You laugh.

"Surprised it took so long to heal, I figured with super speed it would've been way faster!"

"I think it only took 4 weeks instead of like 6..." you say.

"Still!"

"I know right." You laugh. Beast Boy snuggles up to you.

The rain taps on the window to your bedroom in a peaceful way. The sky is still grey and gloomy, but your day couldn't have been more perfect.

"Thank you." You add.

"For what?" Beast Boy questions.

"Everything. Taking me in. Helping me out and just for being you."

"Woah what's got you all sappy all of a sudden? But don't sweat it. Of course."

"No idea. But I'm so happy."

"Ditto." Beast Boy laughs while kissing your forehead.

You yawn after he pulls away.

"What time even is it? It seems early."

"It's like 10am!" Before you can speak Beast Boy adds, "I know, early for me. But I wanted to surprise you."

"You're the best BB, thank you." You finish eating and push your plate to the edge of the tray.

"I'll take this!" Beast Boy grabs the tray. He climbs out of bed with it and heads to the door.

You start giggling to yourself. "You're not just going to put it on the floor?"

"Well. I did think about it but it's your room. Might as well start our day before everyone else anyways. Just once."

"Just once is right." You laugh and get up to follow BB to the kitchen.

You catch up to him and smack his ass as a joke causing him to jump sending a cup flying in the air. Luckily, you use your super speed and catch it before it shatters.

"Nice catch!" Beast Boy praises.

"I know right." You say and the two of you head out of the bedroom.
