Beast Boy x Reader

Chapter 15

The morning after you wake up dizzy. Your head has been hurting all night from the wound.

You stand up, take some pain reliever medicine and laugh at yourself. You seem to be the only person on the team getting hurt.

You quickly change out of your pyjamas and into your regular clothes. As you were about to leave for breakfast, your bedroom door slides open.

Beast Boy is standing under your door frame with the biggest most goofiest yet cutest smile holding a small bouquet of colour flowers and a tray of two pancake breakfast meals.

"Good morning." You smile and laugh happily.

"I figured you could totally use some rest... sooooo breakfast in bed! Come on." Beast Boy ushers you back to your bed.

You sit down, propping yourself up on a pillow leaning against the wall. Beast Boy sits across from you.

"Thank you! Did you make these?" You joke after your first bite, noticing the cooking is way better than how Beast Boy usually cooks.

"Yes, actually."

"Seriously?! I'm surprised they aren't infused with tofu." You laugh.

"Hey! I actually found some cool book the other day and taught myself how to make proper pancakes for you." Beast Boy smiles.

"Well, I really appreciate it." You smile back, locking eye contact.

Beast Boy starts to slowly lean over the tray that lay flat on the bed and closes his eyes.

Finally his lips lock with yours and you two share a quick, meaningful kiss.

Although it went by quick, it felt forever. A forever you didn't want to leave.

You felt butterflies dance in your stomach. Your body got chills and your entire world stopped. It was perfect. A perfect five second kiss that felt forever.
