Beast Boy x Reader

Chapter 10

The next morning you wake up and get dressed, then make your way to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Good morning, (Y/N)!" Cyborg yells while flipping pancakes.

"Hey guys." You smile while noticing the rest of the titans sitting around the island.

Beast Boy looks at you and winks without anyone noticing, and you try your best not to blush or laugh.

"Want some pancakes?" Robin asked.

"Yes please!" You say as you make your way to the island.

You sit beside Beast Boy on a tall metal stool.

Cyborg then serves everyone pancakes.

You devour your pancakes extremely fast and then go sit on the couch, to wait for Beast Boy.

After a minute you hear foot steps behind you, so you turn around.

Robin is behind you, "come with me." He says, so you get up and follow.

Robin leads you downstairs to a small room with nothing in it but a computer and an office chair.

"What's this?" You ask.

"Uh Robin?" You recognize as Beast Boys voice, making his way down to the room.

You turn around and Beast Boy gives you wide eyes, as if to say "Wha is happening??"

You turn back to face Robin as Beast Boy joins your side.

"I think you know why I've called you guys here." Robin scowled.

"Uh.... no?" Beast Boy.

"Last night. I heard you guys fighting in the bathroom. When I came out to see what was going on I just saw (Y/N) walking to her room. I assumed you guys made up but you have to know, especially you Beast Boy, fighting is—" Robin starts.

"—No! No no no, you got it all wrong!" (Y/N) interrupts.

"What do you mean? There better be something else going on here because we don't tolerate fighting. I'd have to send you away, (Y/N) so please tell me what I got wrong." Robin answers.

You run your hand down the front of your face and sigh while you try to collect yourself.

"We weren't fighting, we were kissing." You say.

"We're like... dating." Beast Boy answers to Robin.

"Yeah." You say.

"Okay, I'm glad that's all it was. For how long though?" Robin asks.

"A week maybe two. I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I just thought you'd think the only reason I wanted her to stay was because I liked her." Beast Boy pleads.

"Why would you think that?" Robin asks.

"Well, uh, I don't know. I just thought to make sure she could stay you had to learn to like her as a person. Just in case. I didn't want her to be known as BB'a girlfriend. I wanted her to be a titan first." Beast Boy rambles.

"She is. She is a titan. And no one will care you're dating, well, I'm happy for you, but it doesn't change who she is." Robin says in a tone to indicate Beast Boys reasoning was stupid.

"Okay. Sorry." Beast Boy apologized.

Robin heads towards the stairs. He then turns around, "One more thing, I'm surprised you didn't tell anyone this. No offence BB, but having a girlfriend is something I'd expect you to never shut up about." Robin laughs and starts walking back upstairs.

You still stand still facing the wall with a blank expression.

"Hey, you ok?" Beast Boy asks.

"Yea, fine." You answer.

"You don't look fine," Beast Boy says, "what's bothering you?"

"I don't know." You turn to face him, "did you really think that if I were only known as your girlfriend people wouldn't respect me as a team asset?" You look in his eyes, obviously upset.

"No. Well, kind of. I don't know. Please don't be upset by it. Last time I had a girlfriend she tried to kill us all." Beast Boy says.

You stand in front of him silent but less upset looking.

Beast Boy goes to smile, but you link your arms around his neck.

His arms fly out forward out of surprise but he then embraces you in a warm hug.

"It's okay. I thought you were embarrassed of me." You say.

Beast Boy pushes you forward. "Embarrassed!? How could I be embarrassed of you? You're awesome!" He smiles then kisses you.
