Summary of "Whole Hearted."

In the first book, "Whole Hearted," Moriah Peters, before marriage (She's 20), adopts three adorable little girls.

Alanis Peters, Joanna Peters, and Tamara Peters.

The youngest is Alanis, who is seven (In The First Book). Her parents mysteriously disappeared.

The middle child is Joanna, who is twelve (In The First Book). Her parents abused her when she was nine, and she was immediately taken away from them.

And the oldest is Tamara, who is fourteen (In The First Book). Her parents abandoned her at the hospital after she was given birth. She had trust issues, until she met Joel.

They lived in Nashville, Tennessee. They used to live in California, but after Moriah got married, they moved in with Joel.
They live next door to Skillets members, John and Korey and their adopted daughter, Rebecca, also known as Bec.

Over time, Joel wins the trust of Alanis, with the help of Joel's brothers', Luke and Ben, sons. Luke's sons are Jude and Phoenix. Ben's son is Asher.

Later on, Joel wins the trust of Joanna. Joanna gets a spark in music and dancing.

The only person Joel can't win is Tamara.
She won't budge.

At school, Tamara meets her real friends, Liz, Everest, Natalia, Angel, and Susana.
But, some popular people take Tamara away from her friends because she's Joel and Moriah's daughter. But, they are really not her friends. Those people are Heather, Brooke, Kaitlyn, Logan, and Aaron.

They plan something to embarrass Tamara. A prank at a party.

On the same day as the party, Tamara came home to see Bec crying in her front yard. Tamara found out Bec had cancer. Liz, Everest, Susana, Angel, and Natalia tell Bec what is happening in school (About Tamara ditching them for popular fake friends.) Tamara gets mad and reacts badly and runs home.

But, Kaitlyn (On of the popular people) actually becomes Tamara's true friend.

So, when Tamara goes home, she finds out that she can't go to the party, Joel is having a concert. She gets mad at Joel at the concert, says she "Hates" hima and tells Moriah "She's not her real mom."
She escapes and goes to the party.

So, when Heather, Logan, Aaron, and Brooke were going to prank her in public, dump pain on her, Kaitlyn let it fall on herself, not Tamara.

Tamara and Kaitlyn walk home, almost midnight.
Tamara and Kaitlyn get kidnapped and they throw Kaitlyn on the side of the road and take Tamara.

The kidnappers call Joel, and Joel goes to save Tamara.
When the kidnappers were about to kill Tamara, Joel comes and saves the day.

Then, Joel gets shot. The kidnappers escape and leave Tamara and Joel in the woods, while it's raining.

Joel dies, and Tamara confesses that she loves Joel, and she accepts him as her dad.
Then, Angel (One of Tamara's real friends, who was actually an Angel) revives Joel and Tamara blacks out.

Nine months later, Tamara wakes up from a coma. She's healthy and she is reunited with Moriah, Joel, Alanis, and Joanna.

Then, she finds out that Moriah was pregnant and had a baby boy, Issac Ezra Smallbone, who in the book is two years old.

They are a complete family again.

They moved from the old house, since it had bad memories.
They still contact with their friends.
