After Alanis left, everything was different. It had only been two hours since she left and already, everyone's world was falling apart.

They ate through dinner, an empty seat was there. Issac didn't eat at all, he just looked at his food. Joel let tears fall silently onto the table, but didn't have no expression and didn't make a noise. Moriah ate, but felt like nothing could fill in the hole inside her heart.

Silence covered the entire house. No one was speaking or reacting. Shyann and Tara were gone, Moriah and Joel told them to leave for a couple of days because of the incident.

Moriah looked down and began to cry. She tried to keep it in, but no longer could bare the pain.

Joel quickly put his silverware down and rushed to Moriah, embracibg her tightly. Moriah buried her face in his chest and sobbed.
Issac popped out of his high chair and ran to Moriah.

"Mommy? Please don't cry." Issac pleaded, looking at Moriah's eyes.

But, Moriah just couldn't handle it. She cried on. Joel began to cry too, hugging Moriah. Issac laid his head on Moriah's lap, letting tears silently fall.
Moriah touched Issac's hair and kept crying, with Joel hugging her.

It was almost two in the morning, and everyone was asleep.

Joel was on the couch, crying himself to sleep when he heard a noise. He removed his sleeping mask and looked around to see what was going on. Everything was still and quiet. Joel shook his head and sighed.
"It's just my imagination." He whispered to himself.

Then, he heard the noise again. He payed close attention to it. What he heard a tiny cry. He got up and followed the cry. He walked to the back of the house, where the backyard porch was at, that's where the heard the cry.

As he got closer, he started to realize who was crying. It was Moriah, who was wrapped in her lavender robe and looking out in the distance.

Joel pushed the glass screen doors open, and walked out to where Moriah was. Moriah heard him, but didn't move, she let the wind blow, making her hair wave. Joel walked behind her.

"Moriah, what are you doing out here? It's cold, you must get inside." Joel said, shivering as a gust of wind hit him.

Moriah stayed put, but shook her head.
"Its fine... I'm not that cold."

Another breeze came, and made Moriah hug herself from its power. Joel shook his head and walked closer to Moriah. He took of his small blanket and covered Moriah.

Moriah looked at him, but didn't smile.
"Thank you." She said quietly.
Joel gave a small smile, then it disappeared.

Moriah looked into the distance again, tears rolling down her cheeks. Joel looked at her and used his finger to wipe her tears.

Moriah cried more, but quietly. Joel wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close.
Moriah looked up at Joel, and they looked into each other's eyes. But, Moriah looked down, avoiding it.

Joel frowned, and used his hand to lift her face gently.
"Moriah? Please don't ignore me..."
Moriah looked up at Joel, her face covered in tears.
"Joel... I can't..."

Joel gave a confused by look.
"You can't what?"

Moriah took a small breath.
"I can't do this... There so many problems right now, I can't deal with this, too."
She tried to pull away, but that only made Joel hold her tighter.
He looked at her, hurt in his eyes.

"Moriah, I love you." He said softly. Moriah pressed her lips together, trying not to cry. Joel cocked his head.
"There is no denying that I love you."
Moriah gasped for air, letting tears fall.

Joel's eyes stung with tears.
"I know with all these problems right now, this seems so off topic... But, Moriah... I love you, and there is no way I could ever stop."

Moriah cried, and looked down. Tears dripped and fell onto the floor.
Joel cried as well, trying to find words to tell her how much he loved her.
And he did find words.

Joel looked at her, even though she looked down.

"Moriah, if the most beautiful woman I know stood in front of me... I would fall for her in an instant..."

Moriah looked at Joel with anger filling her eyes now.
"Joel how us that helping?!"

Joel looked at Moriah, tears threatened to fall.

"Because... You are the most beautiful woman I know... I would fall for you in an instant."

Moriah burst into tears and hugged Joel, getting his shirt damp. Joel hugged her tightly.

"I love you, Moriah." Joel said through the sobs.

Moriah cried, she heard Joel, but kept crying.

But, Joel was sure, through the sobs and tears, he could hear three simple yet beautiful words. Three words that made his heart jump in joy.

Three words that could fix their problems and worlds.

The three words Moriah said faintly through tears.

"I love you."
