Thank you!

"Trust me! I'll be fine."

Moriah said into the phone. Luke called her today, which was her wedding anniversary.

But, Luke didn't have the heart to tell her about Joel over the phone. So, he said Moriah should come to the show tonight. That was where he would tell her the truth.

Moriah thought because Joel planned something, but she was wrong. Joel forgot.

"Moriah, I can call some security to escort you!" Luke said over the phone.

Moriah smiled.
"Trust me Luke, I'll be fine. Besides, it's not that far."
Luke didn't sound so confident about that.
But, he simply agreed.
"Okay, I'll see you at the show!"

Moriah smiled.
"Bye Luke."

She hung up and walked into the living room.
Alanis and Issac sat there.
Issac was happy, Alanis, not so much.

Moriah smiled, happy because she thought Joel had finally changed.
"Ready?!"

Alanis groaned.
"Why do we have to go see that..."
She searched for the right word. He was definitely not her father, is what she thought.
"That man."

Moriah looked at Alanis.
"Because, it's me and 'that man''s anniversary."

Alanis looked at the ground, in anger.
She was still mad at Joel.

Moriah clapped her hands and they all got in the car.

Tara and Shyann were with their parents, so they weren't going.

------------------

"Turn left in 1 mile."

The GPS robotic voice ticked Moriah off, she took a deep breath and turned it off.

Alanis sighed in relief. Her eyes widened and she raised her hands to the sky.
"Finally! You shut her up!"

Moriah smiled and Alanis laughed.
Issac was in the back clapping and singing along to the song on the radio. Which was "Impossible" by Building 429.

Moriah pulled into a parking lot for the arena. She went through four lanes and finally found one.
She smiled.
"Yes."
She parked and turned the car off.
"Okay, let's go!"

Alanis unbuckled and got out, Moriah did too, and she helped Issac out.
Moriah held Issac's hand and Alanis walked by Issac.

-------------------------

Joel walked off stage with the band, and they headed to the lobby to do an interview.

Moriah, Issac, and Alanis went there, Luke told security guards that they had permission.

Joel sat in a seat beside the reporter. Luke sat on the other side of Joel, far away from the reporter. The band was on the reporter's side of the lobby.

This was another reporter, a beautiful, young, blonde, smart woman.

And she was single.

She asked her questions, from time time exchanging looks with joel.
She would blush everytime they smiled at each other.
