Markus walked towards the area where he left Riley, and saw the human comforting Maria. Even with Markus's enhanced hearing, he could barely even hear the human's soft voice.

Wow! She's got a soft voice. Markus thought, slowly approaching the two women.

"Riley, time to go." Markus said, lowering his hand. Riley said goodbye to Maria and her daughter as she climbed onto Markus's hand. The giant motioned his hand to his shoulder this time, and Riley skittishly scampered off of his hand. Markus said goodbye to his brother, then headed towards the backdoor. As soon as he opened it, a much larger giant barged into the house, panting and nearly falling down.

"Whoa, there!" Markus began, shutting the door and helping the larger giant up. "David, you can just barge in like that!"

David looked at Markus, then looked at Riley, who just scampered behind Markus's neck. He heaved himself up, then took a deep breath before speaking. "I found out why giants are trying to extinct the human race." He said, his gruff voice cutting through the silent shuffling of feet.

"Well, what's caused a lot of us to turn wild?" Markus asked, trying to coax Riley out from behind his neck with his fingers.

"Not just what, but WHO?" David corrected, "BloodLust, taller than me, and, he's been stealing the souls of other giants. Some have managed to keep half their soul, which results in struggling to stay under control."

"And, someone's been turning people into soulless giants." A new serene voice stated.

David whirled around to face the newcomer, but only saw a strange man sitting on a hunter-killer drone.

"Akatosh!" Riley squeaked, nearly bounding off Markus's shoulder.

Akatosh smiled, then teleported Riley to where he was. Riley hugged the newcomer, and then her smile turned into a confused frown.

"Why'd you come back?" Riley asked.

"Two reasons. One, you left behind your, hat." Akatosh began, handing Riley a pink and black hat. "And second, I came to warn you! Your being hunted by my demonic older brother, who's the reason why some humans became giants, and BloodLust! You need to hide!"

Riley cocked her head, confused and scared. She whimpered slightly, shying back towards Markus. Akatosh's smile was quickly replaced slight guilt, realizing how scared Riley was.

"Well, why is she a specific target?" David asked, poking Riley lightly in her stomach with his pinky. "BloodLust want thin humans now?"

"No, because she's the fastest human alive, and BloodLust wants her to be the one that finishes what he started." Akatosh said, walking towards David. "Riley is not even human. She's the descendent of the Dracaric Angel, AngelCry. In other words, she's a WildBlood."
