Cori took apart Markus's colt 45 then saw that the revolver had a bullet jammed in it. He picked up his tweezers then pulled the iron-silver bullet out, then reloaded the gun.

"This is a very old gun, you do know that, right Markus?" Cori said, handing his younger brother the gun.

"Well, dad had it in one of his drawers, and it never failed me. Saved mine and a few humans' lives, like Riley." Markus said, looking at the gun's barrel. "I'm not even sure if I actually had brought down Fenrir, he looked at me like I was a Snow Deer, and I'm not even sure if he's a giant, some creature, or a cannibal."

"Well, if you didn't bring him down, then you got a ticked off undead giant to worry about. Fenrir was the best soldier there was. Trust me, You don't want to make him mad." Cori said.

Markus stared at the gun, then thought about Fenrir coming back for another round at him. HE had shot Fenrir, HE was the one that the other giant would kill first, dead or alive. Markus shivered at that thought.

"So, is it fixed?" Markus asked, changing the subject.

"Yeah, go ahead and try it out, Alex is here, too, if you wanna have a competition with him like you used to before all, this, happened." Cori said, gesturing down the hallway.

Markus thanked his brother, then went to go find Riley. He saw Maria, one of Cori's rescues, then smiled at her. "Hi Maria, how are you doing?" Markus asked, walking towards the human.

Maria shied away, clutching a small bundle to her chest. Markus looked at the bundle curiously, then took a knee.

     "What's in the bundle?"

Maria jumped, then quickly recovered from his sudden question. She took a deep breath, then revealed what was in the bundle. Markus's eyes widened, then he stood up, walking back towards Cori.

Cori went back to working on his Hunter-Killer drones, which his rescue Thomas. Thomas was struggling to carry a small (to Cori's perspective) pouch of gunpowder and sulfur. Sulfur and gunpowder was what made the drones "suicidal". Thomas nearly fell off the counter, and Cori caught the human.

"Alright, Tom, take a lunch break, I'll take it from here." Cori said. Thomas nodded, then scampered off to the scrap metal house that he had constructed himself. As Cori loaded the mix into the empty drone, he could hear Markus stomping down the hall.

"Cori, do you know how dangerous it is to keep an infant human? Did you even know that Maria had a freaking kid?!" Markus scolded, causing the engineer to jump.

"Yes, but Maria has been good with handling her child." Cori said.

"How was it delivered, huh? You were never trained to aid in this situation! You should have brought her to me!"

"I TRIED, ALRIGHT!?" Cori snapped, slamming his hand hard on the counter and standing up. "I DIDN'T KNOW UNTIL MARIA HAD CRIED OUT IN PAIN! WHEN I FOUND HER, SHE WAS TRYING TO DELIVER THE KID! WE GOT THE WORST AND BEST LUCK THAT DAY!! IT WAS TOO LATE TO EVEN TRY TO HOLD HER!"

Markus stood there, suprised. "Well, you should have taken her to me while she was pregnant, rather than hide it from me! She could've died, Cori. Then what would you have done, huh? You, were, not, trained, in, the, medical, field! I was! You should've taken her to me!" Markus said. He sighed. "Well, was it a boy or girl?"

     "Girl."

     "And her name?"

     "Stephanie, Stephanie Malcomson." Cori said.

"Well, next time, you bring her to me when she's pregnant, okay?" Markus said, walking out of the room.
