Riley wearily tried to get up, her tail spikes coated in blood. The giant snarled, baring his razor teeth. He snatched Riley up from the ground by her wings.

"How dare you attack me?! AFTER I GAVE YOU A CHANCE TO LIVE!?!" He roared, tossing the WildBlood up into the air and grabbing her harshly, snapping her arm and nearly breaking her spine, and paralyzing her. Earlier he had given her an offer.

"I will give you the gift to live, none of my subjects will try to harm you, all you have to do, is respond to my call." BloodLust said, smiling a toothy grin.

Riley thought about the offer, then realized he wanted her to become his most prized war pet.

"Sorry, but if me wearing a tacky harness and collar and living off of crappy food pellets and being treated like a pet is involved, then, go hug a cactus, because, I'm not a pet!" Riley snapped, her tail lashing from side to side.

"Aww, I promise I won't eat you, unless I grow bored. I heard exotic beasts like you taste great flame roasted." He said, flashing an evil smile at her.

"Sorry, but I'm off the menu and off the market!" Riley snarled.

"Hm, well, I guess I can't make you submit, but rather, use force."

Riley had enough time to register the sentence to realize she was in a kill-or-be-killed situation and darted away on all fours. A hand shot out to try and grab her, but she turned and blasted the hand with icy cold frost breath. The giant reeled back his hand, then grabbed her. She wriggled out of the hand and scampered up to his eye and spiked it, causing the eye to fall weak. The giant roared with pain, and smacked her out of the air with enough force to weaken her.

Back to the present, she stayed limp in the giant's fist. He snarled, then chuckled.

"Let's see how half alive WildBlood actually tastes." He snarled, changing his grip so that he was dangling her by the tail. He tilted his head back and opened his mouth, but a loud bang from outside announced an unexpected arrival. BloodLust carelessly tossed Riley into her cage and locked the door. He walked up to a giant wearing armor, then whispered "don't let whatever's out there in" into his ear.

"It's time I end this little game." He snarled, walking over to his desk and pulling out a sharp blade in the shape of a dragon's mandible. "Once and for all!"

Riley lay in the cage, her whole body was crippled, bleeding, and some parts of her were twisted in ways that were impossible to imagine, but she was still alive, and suffering horribly. She couldn't feel her lower torso, and her upper torso hurt like hell, but she was still fighting, and was losing the struggle.

Please, God, Riley prayed, please let it be Markus and his brothers out their!
