Chapter 26

He looks at me and asks, "You liked what I did downstairs didn't you Baby?" He walks over and connects his lips to mine. "Yes Alpha." He growls and whispers in my ear, "I love it when you call me that." He runs his hand under my shirt and starts pulling it up. He pulls my shirt over my head. "I love you Babe," he says as he kisses my neck. I wrap my legs around him and he carries me to the bed. The door of our room opens and Cole walks in. "Hey Matthew I need to talk to you about... Oh Silver." Matthew stops what he was doing and answers Cole,"Is it really that important and can Silver stay?" Cole looks at us again trying to avoid staring at my chest. "Yes it important." It's about pack we still haven't decided on a name yet. I looked at Matthew and said,"Shouldn't we get the whole pack together for this?" Cole looked at me and back to Matthew,"Well if you two would get some clothes on and come downstairs then we will I've got the rest together and no one else was brave enough to check on you guys." I sit up and kiss Matthew on the cheek and whisper,"Maybe later Alpha." Matthew gets up and walks into the bathroom. I start to put my shirt back on but Cole stops me. He tosses the shirt on the bed and presses his soft lips to mine. I don't kiss him back and shove him off of me. Cole looks at me concerned and moves a strand of hair from my face. "I know you don't want him as much as you want me Baby, so why are you fighting it?" He whispers softly so Matthew doesn't hear. I push him away but he doesn't move far and I say, "I don't know what your talking about I don't want you, and I certainly won't leave Matthew for a cheating mutt like you." Cole smirks and says, "We'll see about that sweetheart ," and walks back downstairs. I throw on my shirt and Matthew walks out of the bathroom fully clothed. He walks over and kisses my cheek and we walk downstairs. When we get down there I see Angel and Nathan cuddling on the couch. I chuckle at the sight of them as Juliet waddles over into there lap. Angel smiles and looks up at Nathan as Juliet climbs on his face. He's going to be a good father one day I think to myself. Matthews sits on the couch next to them I sit down next to him as he puts his arm around me pulling me closer. Juliet notices and crawls back over to us. She walks right over me and lays on her fathers chest. Cole looks at us longingly for a second then his expression becomes unreadable. Nathan says,"Well if no ones going to say anything then I will, do we have any known rogues in the area?" The side of my face aches as if it's still bruised and I snuggle closer to Matthew. Matthew says, "Yes but I doubt he'll be back anytime soon." Nathan noticed me moving closer to Matthew and asks, "It was another black wolf wasn't it?" Everyone looks at him wondering how he could have known this. Nathan sighs, "He's my brother."
