A Wolf's World

Chapter 3

     I made up an excuse to leave. Alex looked at me and I told her I was getting food so she let me go. I walked downstairs and grabbed a pizza box. I walked back into Alex's room and I hear Cole telling Alex what he likes about me. So I stand just out of the camera and listened to what he's saying. I stand there smiling and Cole says shouldn't she be back by now? I say, "I've been here the whole time Cole." He looks at Alex and she nods. Then, he turns to me and says, "Silver I have liked you since I first laid eyes on you I just couldn't tell you." I look at him shocked at what he just said. He says, "Silver will you go out with me?" I was going to answer him but the room started turning black then I fell onto the bed. The last thing I heard before I blacked out was Alex yelling Silver.
Alex POV
    I watched as Silver fell onto my bed, I yelled her name as she fell but I don't think she could hear me. Cole keeps asking me what's wrong with her. I tell him I don't know she's never done this before. I reach over and feel her forehead she's burning up. I pulled my hand away as soon as it hit her face. Cole saw what happened and I could hear him saying this is all my fault that he shouldn't have asked her out. I look at him and tell him she's got a fever she said something was wrong earlier and I told her it was all in her head. He calms down after I say that. All of a sudden she starts shaking.
Silver's POV
   I start hearing voices it sounds like Alex and Cole. I could feel my body shaking I had no idea what was going on. As soon as it started it stopped, I was no longer shaking and I opened my eyes. I saw Alex looking at me and she asked if I was ok. "Yes, I'm fine I told her." She didn't believe me. I...Cole started asking me if I was ok. Then I remember what happened before I blacked out. I'm fine Cole. I start shaking again and fall to the ground. I don't know what's wrong with me it feels like my body is changing. The shaking stops and I stand up, but this time on four legs. I looked around had I shrunk? Alex looked at me and said, "Silver you're a you're a." What say it Alex? You're a wolf. I thought about what she said for a second. That would explain the height difference and the four legs. Alex said, "Oh uh Cole is coming over here and you still haven't answered him." "Alex I'm a wolf and I'm not sure how to not be a wolf!" Right well try thinking about being human again. I thought about being human and felt myself start to shake again.
