Chapter 23

The wolf took a few steps closer and I looked at Angel. She nodded and I phased. The wolf didn't seem phased by me phasing. He looked up at me,"Hello, I'm sorry for walking in on...whatever happened here but I was wondering if I could maybe join your pack?" I was surprised, this wolf just walks up and asks to join our pack? Do we even have a pack? The door opens and Matthew walks out still in his wolf form. Sil who is this? The wolf looks at Matthew. "Oh is this your Alpha, I just probably ask him then." By the way my name is Nathan. Well now we have a name. Matthew looks at me confused,"Um we aren't much of a pack and I'm not really an Alpha," he says as he walks over and stands by me. Angel looks at us,"Guys maybe we should start a pack you guys do have a pup now." Nathan looked at us,"That makes sense now you two are mates." Matthew and I nod. That girl is right you should start a pack. She looks at him,"My names Angel." Nathan nods,"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl, are you a wolf too?" Angel looked at me and I smiled at her,"Um thanks yes I'm a wolf also." Angels phone rang and she when inside to talk to whoever it was. Nathan looked at us, "So are we gonna go inside and discuss starting a pack or stand out here all day?" I looked at Matthew and he said,"Ok." We walked inside and sat on the couch downstairs. I looked at Nathan and Matthew,"How exactly do we start a pack?" Nathan answered,"The strongest male becomes the Alpha and his mate the Luna, the Alpha chooses a Beta." I heard a phone being thrown and someone sobbing upstairs. Matthew and Nathan were to busy talking about starting a pack so I went upstairs to check on Angel. I walked into her room and saw her crying into her pillow. Her phone was on the floor next to a small hole in the wall. I walk over and grab her phone. I unlock it and replay her last call just loud enough for me to hear. It was Luke, Angels boyfriend. I hear him talking about how he doesn't love her anymore, and that he's found another girl whose the love of his life. I drop the phone and wrap my arms around her. "I'm sorry Angel he doesn't deserve you." I say as she lifts her head up to look at me. Poor Angel she doesn't deserve this after what she's been through. "He's a jerk he said he'd never love anyone but me now he's going out with the school slut!" She was trying not to cry but I knew he hurt her. "Do you want some ice cream?" I asked. She nodded. "Can I leave you up here by yourself Angel?" She nods and i walk out of the room. I go by Alex's room to check on Juliet. She was asleep until I walked in. She stumbled over to me and I picked her up. I had phased back to a human after coming inside, along with Matthew and Nathan. I walked back downstairs and see Matthew and Nathan talking about something. Matthew looks up when I enter the room. Nathan looks after he realizes Matthew isn't paying him any attention. "Hey Sil where'd you go?" Matthew asks. "I went to go check on Angel and Juliet," I say as I set Juliet down on his lap. Nathan looks at Juliet who falls asleep in Matthews lap and says,"She looks just like her mother." I say thanks and he asks,"Is Angel ok?" I'm not sure how to answer that so I just reply,"She'll be ok I came down her to get some ice cream."
