Chapter 17

Alex runs outside,"What happened?" Matthew gets up and says,"Will hit Sil so I punched me and told him to never come back here." Alex looks at us,"Sil come with me." I follow her inside and we go to her room. Angel is sitting on Alex's bed again. She looks up at us when we walk in the room. I phase back and throw on the first shirt I saw, which just happened to be Matthews. Angel looks up from her phone,"Oh my god Sil what happened to your face!" I turn around to look in Alex's mirror and half of my face was bruised from Will slapping me. As I stared at my reflection the bruise started shrinking. Alex and Angel stared at me worriedly. After about five minutes the bruise was gone. "Well I guess I heal fast," I said. Matthew walked in. "Alex have you seen my.... Never mind." Alex looked at him and said,"You never let me wear  that shirt and your letting her wear it?" He looked at my shirt again and was about to say something when Alex interrupted him,"Save it you love her more than you ever loved me you didn't talk to any of us when Sil was gone goodbye Matthew." He didn't seem phased by her words as she walked out of her room. I looked at Angel who was still sitting on Alex's bed probably reading something on her phone and asked,"Is it true did he not talk to anyone while I was gone?" She looked up at me and nodded then went back to reading. Matthew nodded and said,"I stayed in your room and didn't come out." I was going to look for you but you came back before I could leave. I walked over to him and kissed him. He didn't hesitate to kiss me back. I heard the door open and close Angel must have left. Matthew pulls away. He looks me in the eye and says,"I love you Silver," and kisses me again. I never realized how beautiful his eyes are, they're green but they have a yellow ring around the pupil that makes them lighter. He's got puppy eyes and I forget what I'm going to say when I look into them. We pull away to catch our breath. "I love you too Matthew," I say as I get lost in his green eyes. Falling in love with your best friend seems impossible but then again is anything impossible anymore? I hear a car pull up outside breaking me from my trance. I see a hot guy get out of the car and Angel running into his arms. I didn't know Angel had a boyfriend I think to myself. He picks her up and kisses her then sets her n the passenger seat of his 1967 black Chevy Impala. I think I've seen him before. Was that Luke? He's always looked at our table at lunch I guess he likes Angel, she must have been texting him instead of reading. She told me she liked him the other day. I guess they finally got together. Matthew picked me up and set me on the bed. "Let me show you how much I love you," he said as he starting sucking on my neck.
